  2. This list is awesome. If I find any that don't work I will let you know. How often do you think you will update the list? I know there are lots of tutorials out there and it can be hard to keep track of them all.
  3. At this point I have included 5/7 of the tuts on this site. I do not plan to include every good tut on the web, but I do plan to pare down to what seems best and include some goodies from elsewhere if they fill a gap of some kind.

As tuts come to the front page, I add them, and I will add pages 2 and 3 as I can get around to it.

As far as updating and bad links, it is a bit complicated by the archiving system.
But feel free to PM me if any links are bad. PM tut posters if their images or downloadables are gone.

    ************************************************

6/7 done! only the one more page of tuts to add are left! Woo Hoo!
  4. Okay, I believe I have all of the tuts on the forum in the list now, with the exception of those with some kind of image or similar problem. I have contacted folks about those. If you do not see your tut (or your favorite tut) here, please PM me. Likewise, if you notice that some of the tuts are not exactly in the right category, (that is gonna take some time and editing, and I am gonna take a break from this for awhile!) please PM me.

I appreciate the help, but no sense spamming up the thread. =]

To remind folks, eventually the list will get smaller.

I see no reason for two tuts in the list which cover the exact same thing, and eventually will pare down a bit. For now, I want to see which tuts get the most use, now that people can perhaps find them a little more easily.

A final word - some tuts are archived - you can still read them but if you have a problem you cannot ask right there on the thread.

I suggest that you either PM the author (if they are active) or create a new help topic and link to the tut you are referencing. Or lol do both.

Have a wonderful time making the game of your dreams!

  5. All I can say is, holy cow, thanks for this organized list of links!  I've got a lot to learn, especially when it comes to scripting and balancing battles, lot of stuff here that will help.
  6. Wow, I am into Grandma's lists.  :p

    Thanks GrandmaDeb!

    Thanks GrandmaDeb!
Thank you. I enjoy making them.

Of course, a list is only valuable if there are great things to put in it.

Having so many people from all over the world contributing their time and talents just so we can all enjoy a little RPG Making is what makes the lists valuable.
  8. It's the mind behind it that is also lovely though.

Even before I join this forum, when I was searching for something RPG Maker related.... ANYTHING.... there was always at LEAST one google result with Grandma Deb related somehow. So you got the picture. You are almost Google searching itself when it comes to RPG Maker resource searching, because of your awesome lists.
  9. Thank you for this list, Grandma! I'm new to RM and to Ruby, but this may allow me to understand the beautiful world of the rpgs
  10. Hi there, I'm very new to all this.

I know this is for VX Ace, but how compatible are these with XP? (I can't afford Ace at this time)
  11. It's all good now. A good friend gifted me a copy of VX Ace :) Now I can spend my time reading through these and planning a story.
  12. This collection is awesome, I'm sure people will benifit from it
  13. wow! very useful list! thank you for the compilation!
  14. This is great, but unfortunately, a lot of links and images no longer work. :(
