Slim's this and thats -MZ edition-

The "furries" comment was more of a joke. But yeah, like your catgirl edit. There are a lot of cat ears and tails and cat sprites but there aren't many if any RTP style Bee-men, lizard-men, snake-men, bird-men, ant-men, etc. Or other mutant animal men like Boars, elephants. I would use them in my He-Man fan game.

I love anything witch related like cauldrons, brooms, crystal balls, and of course witches themselves. Or nature related like trees and mushrooms, and plant or mushroom type characters theme-wise I also really love to see. Also, can never ever have to many gnomes, sprites, sylphs, dryads, and fairies...

I'm simple, I love the fantasy/magical looking stuff.

I'm working on a game of my own and stumbled upon this thread when looking for sailor/pirate generator parts. The stuff here looks great but it seems like it's just character sprites rather than the generator parts. I only want this for minor NPCs without a portrait so really the only thing I need is the walking sprites, but I wanted to make my own through the generator. As such, I would like to know how these were made and if they are fully custom or were made using the generator and some edits were made after. I'm still somewhat new to RPGM, so sorry if this is obvious. I own both MV and MZ. I looked through the generator parts for both male and female for both and couldn't find anything similar.

I've made a couple of different ones, which one are you looking at?

The sailor looking fellows in the bottom left are what I wanted for a section of my game, but I wanted to make some of them female and have some more variation, so I was wondering how they were made. I find myself quite lacking in generator parts for all the generic NPCs I want to make, and this is only one of the bunch that I want. :dizzy:

Cuffs might be from Actor2-5 (which does have generator parts)
The rest I don't entirely remember and can't immediately find.

Anyone else just completely gobsmacked by the fact 2025 is nearly over?

Before we properly start, I'd like to say that this year's calendar will have less stuff than the previous years. Unfortunately, motivation to start working on it was non-existent the last two months, and I almost made the decision just to skip it this year and prepare for next year. No idea what made me change my mind, but I gave myself a well-deserved kick in the butt and finally started working on stuff yesterday.

I'll also just post it irregulary during the day, instead of midnight my time. That way I have some extra time and I don't need to consistently stay up late.

And lastly, I really enjoyed the suggestions I got during the calendar last year. So definitely keep them coming if you have them ;)

The Water Fairy
For our first day we start exactly the same way as we've done every other time: fairies. @Fortunastreet suggested a water fairy, which coincidentally was already on my to-do list. :D This 'Water Fairy' was originally supposed to be a River Fairy to go with the Forrest one from last year. I never ended up finishing her, until now!

We've got our basic looks (pink+teal and all teal), and then a lilipad look (for a fairy that lives in a pond perhaps?) and a seastar look (for a fairy that lives in the sea/ocean?).
I made them wingless for now, but would you prefer I add wings?

Love the colors, so pretty! I know I'm spoiled, but I'd actually love both versions, wingless and winged. Could be a nice quest, fight the evil Bullfrog to bring back the River Fairy's wings.

Love the water fairys. They will make a great addition to any game.

I definitely prefer my fairies with wings, but… if it's a water fairy, a wingless version isn't so bad. It looks good either way.

@Lady_JJ Thank you. :wub That's actually a pretty cool idea. Perhaps the frog confused them with flies and attacked their wings.

Royal Rumble
While looking at the default battlers, I realized there were battlers for the Captain (or General as I like to call him) and the Dark Elf. Last year I gave the General some better armour colours, so I figured we should have those as a battler as well:

Two years ago, I MZ-fied MV's (H)TML party, but did you know MV has a second hidden party? They are the FIVE gang and they've come to kick butts.

From left to right, we've got Fred, Ilia, Vice and Eliza.

I think it goes without saying, but just to be sure: you need to own MV to be able to use these.

Did you know about their existence? Have you ever made a game about them or that featured them?

Many people don't know this full database for MV even existed.

While I almost exclusively use MZ, there are several MV characters of whom I'm very fond. I tend to just mix and match them, so I really do appreciate your MZ'd versions. :)

Thank you for the mv sprites to mz! I do wonder if someone has made mz style faces for the characters

@Fortunastreet Indeed! I think it doesn't help that it was added later as a free 'DLC'.

Open Sesame
Have you ever looked at the Gate1 doors and thought: Wow, that right one looks really nice, but I don't need it to be magical? Well wonder, no more :D And for good measure, I've magicified the other two doors.

This blasted door has been a forever wip, so I figured I would finish it for Advent this year. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the WIP anywhere, so I restarted from scratch. ;_;
Hopefully my suffering was worth it to someone.
