Those kids are absolutely adorable, they're perfect for being princes in a castle or excited village boys who you just know are gonna be yelled at by their mothers for coming home covered in dirt.

Did you know Avery made a wonderful MZ-fied version of Harold a few years ago? I absolutely love it and have used it in my Harold jam games ever since. :) In those games the rest of his party usually played a role too, and well they just look really weird right next to all the other MZ sprites. So this is for all the people that got annoyed by that fact. (So just me most likely.)

It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: you need to own MV to use these.
I feel like the eyeshape in MZ makes everyone look so much better (and those ugly black borders being gone helps too).
And since my calendar seems to have a theme, I decided to also edit the MV fairies, so there's even more fairy choices available (assuming you own MV of course).

I'm curious what is everyone's favourite RTP character from MV?

I'd love to see bases of those MZ-fied wings for my characters... maybe I'll try making some of my own if you don't want to. I love the MV wings, I just don't like those black borders.
EDIT: Oh, I would love an MZ flying/floating base too.

Don’t know how much of a pain it would be, for suggestions for children as asked…maybe kids playing some street games? Like kicking/trowing balls?

Therese is a favorite of mine from MV so it’s awesome that now she can have fun in MZ games too! And more fairies are always nice to have.

MV had those pointy hats for the girls. MZ doesn't have that. I dunno, the options are kinda barebones for MZ for the price you pay. (Generator wise.)

My favorite RTP asset? I dunno, haven't much messed with the pre-made characters yet.

@slimmmeiske2 Not sure yet, I think I'll have a trio though. 2 boys, 1 girl. They like to play pranks, especially on the one kid's sister. I have some ideas in mind though.

Ooo! The MZ-ified affect looks so good on them. The hair and eyes really pop now and yes! Please! Do away with the cartoony black lines!

What character do I like from MV? Hmm, idk. Kind of a tough one. The Valkyrie perhaps? Always loved her character design.

I somehow managed to miss the children release. I'm more than pleased to have caught it now. It would be a shame to miss something so essential as more children, especially with the quality with which you've done these. The hats solve the problem of too few hair options that aren't a straight replica of the adult hair. Maybe that would be something to think about if you did more children?

I don't have a favourite MV character as it's an engine I don't know much, even though I own it. I jumped straight from VXAce to MZ. However, if they don't have the horrid black outline then gimme more!

@OmnislashXX I don't have MV installed anymore, but do you mean witch hats when you say pointy? MZ also has a witch hat generator part. I found the default generator to have more options than MV's.

Happy Saint-Nicholas day to all who celebrate (or those who celebrated last night)! I wanted to do something themed for the holiday and it still be useful in general. Sinterklaas always arrives on a boat here in Belgium, so I made the two captains who bring him here safely.

I figure some modern(ish) captains could be useful to you all :)

And what is a cruise on the open waters if you’re not behested by pirates? According to a legend (thank you Avery for pointing this out), Sinterklaas once entangled with pirates. And since both @Finnuval and @OmnislashXX asked for pirate stuff, consider this your gift from Sinterklaas. :wub

We've got a captain with some variations, a sailor (I wonder if anyone can spot where he's from) and a marine/navy soldier. (Someone's gotta hunt down those pirates right? :D)

I'm posting a bit early as I have a busy day tomorrow with the celebrations (and also I am already completely fatigued :aswt:). For those who celebrate Saint-Nicholas: what did you get this year?

Oh, awesome. Pirates. Arr matey. Made a few pirates in my game, they'll be a reoccurring enemy that will pop up here and there. They attack your ship in the intro so this will be handy, thanks.

Oh man, I love all those pirates! Excellent job on all of them, they all have such personality to them.

Those pirates look wicked! And having a ship with black sails is such a good idea, it’s a little detail but would make a world map feel even more alive.

The pirates are sick! Now you just need ninjas and the age old rivalry can be commenced once again!

Do you all remember that time Harold dressed up as a sexy nurse and Reid as a fairy? Ah, those were some good times indeed. While working on the fairy portraits for day 1, I thought it would be fun to have portraits of Reid in his Halloween outfits as well. 'Cause you can never have enough fairies darnit.
Starting off we have Reid wearing his fairy costume for Halloween with some variations: the OG green fairy outfit and one is his signature colours. And obviously Reid was a big fan of the flower crown craze of I wanna say 2014?


But what if Reid one day gets turned into a fairy? Maybe he accidentally drunk the wrong potion from Eliot's stash or maybe Kasey thought it would be hilarious and hex him this way.



I personally think he's adorable as a fairy. And that's got me thinking who else should we forcefully transform into a a fairy? There is no wrong answer:rheh:
