Thank you for a wonderful Advent Calendar. There is so much stuff here of high quality, and we are fortunate to have received it.
I hope you get a decent rest and time to relax and enjoy yourself now that it's finished. -
Despite the struggle you created a ton of nice ressources. Thanks for that and a merry christmas to you :)
-
Everything was really great. Thank you very much. It's time for me to use all those for my forest !
-
A wonderful Advent indeed! Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!
-
Amazing resources  Thank you for everything, and Merry Christmas!
-
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Slim. I genuinely love seeing how many characters you can come up with and that so many of them are magic and fairy themed! Game worlds come alive because of their characters. Thank you~
-
I usually don't pay much attention to MZ graphics as I am a die-hard MV enjoyer, but this thread has way too much fairy power to be ignored. :kaojoy::kaothx:

That light blue menu with the robot!!! <3
Thanks for an awesome advent! I also love the little kid versions of some of the adults. :)
Great work!

Just found this thread and I think it's absolutely amazing! Thank you doe these! I can't wait to add some to my game now! :o

Thank you all for all the kind comments! I meant to ask at the start of 2025 what everyone's favourite resources were, but it's been a while and I'm not sure if anyone still remembers. :aswt:
I will ask though, do you prefer it when the advent calendar is more focused on one theme/type of resource? Or do you prefer a mix and match of themes/resource types?
I still have to add last year's Advent resources to the first post. I'll get on that in the next few days. :) -
My preference would be more towards a mix and match of themes/resource types. If you stick just to one (or maybe two) themes, that's potentially going to leave a lot of people on the side if that particular theme doesn't happen to match their project. For example, if you were to focus on sci-fi, I'd not take anything as the chances of me making a sci-fi game are almost zero.
-
I like the mix-and-match, since it's more likely that there's a little something for everyone.
-
Also mix and match for me! There's like 0% chance to predict what will be next and that's cool. Btw love your resources! <3
-
Thanks for the responses, guys. Mix and match it will be. :)
Before I start working on Advent stuff, is there any particular theme you'd like to see? Has there been anything from the past two years you've used in your games? (Anything and everything that feeds my motivation is much appreciated :wub)
Speaking of a game that used Advent stuff ;) For the Beyond Expectations jam, I took some inspiration from the Sleeping Beauty fairytale and discovered I actually did not make enough fairies last year. (Did you know there's 13 fairies in the original fairytale?) So here's three more:
Vixiana, fairy of the wild
Diadora, fairy of the night
Rosamund, fairy of the flowers -
Hey Slim! I don't know about a specific theme, but my 2 favorite things from tour resource collection here have been:
1. your simple recolors of staple game tiles - autotiles like water, demon castle walls, carpets, table, wooden walls, as well as the beds and furniture.
2. the XP noble character collection
Really look forward to seeing what you bring us this Christmas; appreciate you. <3 -
A thunder fairy (and maybe a water fairy) so there are fairies for all rpg maker elements?

I'm sure whatever you make will be amazing as always. How about RTP friendly mutant animal sprites. (not furries, but could also be used as furries). Bee-men, lizard-men, snake-men, bird-men, ant-men, etc. And maybe some unique tiles to go along with them. -
:vxmegane:Some of you all either have access to my secret Advent notes or I'm just very predictable. :guffaw:
Oh, good to know they're useful. :) Any particular type of autotile or furniture you feel is lacking/not enough options in the RTP?your simple recolors of staple game tiles - autotiles like water, demon castle walls, carpets, table, wooden walls, as well as the beds and furniture.
I'm a bit confused by the wording here (particularly the "not furries, but also furries" part). Do you mean something like the catgirl that came with the default resources or something like the edit I did of her?RTP friendly mutant animal sprites. (not furries, but could also be used as furries) -
If we're making advent wishes.. :)
You know what would be super fun? Some other type of fungi "gnomes"!!
Different head pieces.. for different mushrooms.
A whole colony of mushies!
