Woops, I totally didn't see how late it was. (I've finally started working on my entry for the Christmas jam again. I have no idea if it will be finished, so pray for me.)
When I agreed to do our Dark Elf (Evil6), I thought she would make a great Snow/Ice Queen with a simple recolour. So here she is:

She is beautiful with the recolor. It works perfectly as an Ice Queen sprite. My opinion is in no way affected by the fact that I happen to have need of an Ice Queen either...

She is a welcome addition to the royal pantheon. Great to have increased variety.

I'm still working on my jam entry. Made a lot of progress today, so it should be finished in one shape or another before the deadline. However, because of that I actually wasn't able to finish the resource I had originally planned for today. So we're doing a swapsie and allow me to introduce to you "Random Sprite Day".
Look I ran out of ideas, I've told you this before, so these are just a collection of small sprite edits I put together randomly.

Starting with an older queen:

We've had our younger king, so it only made sense to make a older queen. The tall sprite is an edit of @Tonbi's, so make sure to follow his terms.

In that same series, we have ourselves the prince crowned newly king:

The king was old, so it's not suspicious at all that he died, right? The tall sprite is an edit of @Tonbi's, so make sure to follow his terms.

It's season of merriment, so Reid and Priscilla are donning their armor in Christmas colours (and hats):


I started working on some downed versions of my previous released sprites, unfortunately couldn't finish all of them, but I'm sharing the ones that are finished:

All of these edits are great on their own. Together is even sweet. The idea to make the queen older was a great one, and I love that you changed Reid and Priscilla's color scheme around for the holidays. XD. And, YES! We have a tall variant of Catgirl and her chocolate cat form!

I like that older queen quite a lot. And now Reid and Priscilla can activate their Christmas super forms. That's just the tops!

Wow, love all the sprites for Day 21. So many great additions! Incredible job on all of them. I especially love the older Queen.

Glad I didn't forget. Unfortunately it seems everybody I know of is having a birthday, so it's hard for me to keep up.

I want to join the chorus singing the praises of the older queen. Excellent idea. It has always jarred me to see the parents of the prince/princess in the story being the same age as them.

@Kes I was thinking more along the lines of pairing the old queen with the young king. Or maybe instead of the queen, she's the queen-dowager.


I finished my entry for the Christmas jam just a few hours ago, so I haven't been able to make the thing that I still need to make. So we're doing a swapsie again, this time "Random Pink Tile day".

Starting off with beds:

Just some simply edits of the covers, but hopefully it helps to have a bit more variation.

I've also done some autotiles:

Yes, pink! I don't actually have any pink in my home, but you gotta admit it looks cute. :wub

Onto curtains and windows:

Two pink curtains. One that matches the pink curtain from the default windows and one that's a little less bright. For the window edits, I switched the colour of the curtains around, so we've got some more variation.

Lastly on our pink tour, we've got Tents:

I was looking for a particular resource when I came across this purple tent. I quickly recoloured it to pink to match the rest of the day.

On my search, I also came across these stairs edits:

I used it in one of maps for the Map Madness events, and planned on sharing it, but completely forgot. :kaoswt2:

And finally, here it is, the greatest resource ever made:

A statue of Reid! I needed it for Reid's hometown map and like the stairs never really shared it before. Every game needs a Reid statue, and now there's no excuse to not have one. I edited @Tonbi's sprite for this, so please be sure to follow his terms as well.

Maybe we can put the Reid statue in after his epic RPG Adventure is over.

Could always use more beds, as there aren't enough patterns for them. Thanks Slim!

Double beds are always welcome! I don't know how married couples are sleeping otherwise XD. The pink resource tiles are great too for creating the perfect princess room. And there's side stairs and a statue of Reid too! Though these resources are small on their own, they can have such a visually graphic impact on maps. Thank you, Slimm. <3

So many incredible sprites yesterday, I love the older queen and holiday reid and priscilla!

And all those tiles! :kaoluv: More choices to help a character show their personality in their home is always nice, I can already imagine the npc who uses the pink rug and table.

More and more lovely variety. And I certainly agree about the need or double beds.

All wonderful additions, but you need to be careful with all the pink. As a wise alien once said, too much pink energy in one place can be dangerous.
(Extra points if you know what I'm referencing.)

@OmnislashXX Or after he defeats the local bad guy, the villagers decide to put a statue up for him. Or maybe he was so vain, he already had a statue made for him in case he ever did do something heroic.
@Guardinthena Thank you :wub I originally tried going for Barbie vibes with all the pink tiles, but it honestly works for a lot of cases: princesses, little girls, grannies, that guy that really likes pink. Situations enough to use them in :D

I'm having a hard time believing it's almost over. This has been a blast but very tiring experience. I'm definitely not joining a jam concurrently with the Advent Calendar next time. That was not a good combination or was it? *dun dun duuuuuuun*
Well you can decide that! Firstly by playing my game and secondly by enjoying these resources I made for my game and am now sharing with you all. :D

Let's start with the sprites:

First up we got our MC Reid. His SF attire is just a school uniform and since my game takes place outside of school in the middle of winter he drastically needed a change of clothes. I made several variations as my idea at some point was that he would switch outfits (take off his coat for example, change into some more Christmas-y colours).

As mentioned in the Goals & Progress thread, Priscilla was originally going to be an MC as well. Hence why just like Reid, I tried out different combinations on her.

The irony was not lost on me when I recoloured a blonde into a red head (minus blondus points I guess), but don't you think Michelle looks a lot better as a red head? I certainely do. :) Other than that, I made the sleeves on the coat longer to help with the winter season feeling. (And yes, she's just that cool that she'd wear a crop top and shorts in winter. ;) )
I almost never recognize Kasey in her SF get up due to the drastic change in hair colour, so just like with Michelle I recoloured it to her usual blonde hair (bonus blondus points?).
With both sprites I also recoloured the clothes to fit the colour scheme of their default fantasy outifts. I felt they looked more like themselves that way. I added the variations of scifi hair+fantasy colours and fantasy hair+scifi colours in case anyone would prefer those.

I just added a coat to Eliot's SF get up. I think he looks great in it, so I made no variations (and also I was tired).

Onwards to tiles:

I hue shifted some of the wooden autotiles again, so they would better fit with PandaMaru's Christmas stall that I had recoloured. We've got a table, outside tiles and inside autotiles.

It's a pot. I don't know what else to say about it...
