AI General Sharing Thread

Where did you find those artists? Or did they find you? People who randomly add you on steam or discord or facebook, and the first thing they ask is if you need art, are mostly scammers.

Discord contacts, among the people who contacted me on Discord, I found at least 1 who I know is genuine. But some people have scammed me as well. I guess I was kind of naive. In my experience, whenever they are real artists or not, they tend to try to establish a friendship first and then ask if you need art.

By this point I tend to use ai detectors to test if their stuff in genuine before I pay anything. Should have done that from the beginning. I think I am only going to work with artists I know I can trust going forward.

I would not advice using my method, has backfired before. But I usually let them come to me.

People who befriend you before they sell you anything, are the biggest scammers of them all. Don't fall for that one. When a stranger calls you friend, he's absolutely robbing you.

I know, or at the very least they want something from you. Yet, I have checked the work of the main artist I have worked with multiple times. It is not ai. I have met legitimate artists on Discord too, but it can sometimes be hard to seperate them from the fakers.

Well, honestly artist who just go around sending invites to random devs, still don't do it right. Maybe it is not as bad as a scam, but spam is not okay either.

One of the reasons I am leaving discord soon.

Since you start using Suno, and you love creating things with your girl in it, why not writ a song for/about your wife, then record a slideshow with those images, while playing the song. I do that with OBS, but video editing software would work as well.

I don't need Suno to write songs. I wrote plenty from scratch including a few to my closed ones (and some more about love in general).
As for slideshows, I used to do that (especially at the beginning of the relationship) and upload them on Facebook or YouTube. I didn't need AI either, I just picked a song I liked and that fitted the theme of the slideshow :wub
In general when it comes to music I prefer to do it myself or use material from bands I love :p

I don't do that with AI. OBS is recording software, or actually streaming software. And you don't use suno to write the songs. You can write the songs and have Suno make the music.

But I guess that means you're a musician? I play a little keyboard and a little guitar. I have the hardware to connect both to my PC and record, but I don't really know what to do with that. :p I'm not good enough to publish... but maybe I can use it in Suno somehow.

Yes I do compose music (from scratch). I wrote an entire OST 20 years ago for one of my most celebrated games and I'm the author of over 200 songs overall. For a few years in my life my main creative activity was writing songs, before game making took over. Writing stories and music are the two artistic things I enjoy the most doing (taking photos too, I guess).

Okay, but are you a musician? Do you play? Writing music and playing music are two completely different things.

Writing music is part of being a musician.



I do play though, or at least I'm trying. Not a lot of time to practice unfortunately between RL and game making, but I'm definitely enjoying some level of progress.

I wrote an protest song about ICE... I am normally not very shy, but I have been doubting for hours and hours if I should share this on my youtube channel or not. I chose to share it... On a different channel. It is unlisted, for now...

I will not embed the song here, because I am not sure how many rules I would break if I do, but it would mean a lot if you guys would give me your opinion on the song.

I wonder if I should/could post this publicly. Will I make myself a target if I post this, or is this a good way to get my vision across? Will people in America even understand what I am talking about?

I'm going to try to upload a .gif from an MP4 from Grok of a Bed Mimic. I would have to remake this to go from a normal looking bed to the Mimic.

But I think the Mimic animation looks pretty interesting for just a quick test.

I think I prefer the second. It gives me the “on the run” vibe more than the first.

But both are nice.

Second by far. Girl looks prettier and atmosphere is much better.

Yeah, I thought second pic as well. The first one is the one I generated first, and used for quite a while. Then yesterday or the day before maybe, I generated the new one.

I like the second one a lot better as well, however... The first one looks like an armored princess, the other one looks like a E-girl doing LARP while living the rich life of an *nlyf*ns model... And still, I would pick the second portrait. :p

Follow up question... You think they look like they could be sisters? I could use them both, or actually generate a sister.

I had ChatGPT generate me a concept title screen for my game. Naturally I'll be hiring a human artist for the final project, but I still like how this one came out.

I told AI to take this screenshot of my map of the Town in my game and turn it into a medieval fantasy hand-drawn map.

I added a few little specific details, but this is what was given me.
