Please tell me no-one here uses Meta AI. In fact, it is pushed in all their apps, and I never met anyone who doesn't wish they could remove it.

A reminder this thread exists to share your prompts or study, whatever. IF I see another mudslinging or a one sided debate or how the other group is x I will close this thread. I no longer have patience or battery to keep reminding this point. ANY FAILURE TO COMPLY will land the ban hammer on AI everywhere on this forum. This was an experimental thread to see how we feel about AI discussions. So far it is at the negative. Do not argue with me on this.

@JohnDoeGames I believe it was probably related to a couple of recent comments about how others feel about AI and the perception that they are incorrect and "ignorant".

@Archeia Thank you for the reminder that this thread is not for commentary about the different perspectives on AI.

Personally, while I like having this one thread to post AI related things, I would also support a complete ban on any mention of AI at all on this forum. I am often riled by the passing comments in other posts sharing the opposite perspective from those expressed in this thread. Where forum users express very negative opinions on AI, in general, including some misinformation, and sometimes make negative inferences to those who use AI.

I'm trying to do better about just ignoring those types of comments and statements to avoid arguments.

So, I don't necessarily think a complete ban on any mention (positive or negative), including veiled comments, in any thread or status post, would be a terrible thing. As long as it was applied evenly and consistently. If no one says anything about AI, then there is less potential for conflict.

Although I also see how that could be difficult to clearly express to new forum users.

Regardless, if I am guilty of any posts in this thread that triggered the moderator blue text, then I apologize and I will be more cognizant in the future to only share examples and not opinions.

Great idea. Let the bias stop. That would also cut short the tedious display of ignorance on the pretense of knowledge. Too many people love babbling and spreading their agenda when in reality they haven't got any actual data whatsoever and judge on... what, appearances? Being loud never equaled being knowledgeable.


Dude, it's a witch hunt. Don't post anything if you're not welcome. If the moderation doesn't want AI, they can ban it or use your idea above which is pretty good in my opinion. There's no point posting in such a hostile environment.

Maybe indeed that's the better outcome. I personally prefer that than the current status quo.

You posting these in this one thread and repeatedly breaking the one rule we have set in this topic is the reason I even posted that. Is this actually your goal? Because yes, I am leaning towards that now.

If we can't comment anything at all even in relation to the content that is posted, you better ban it entirely honestly. What kind of thread is that if people can't say anything?

I quite like the containment thread, it's neat seeing the use cases it brings up innit.

I think we should be able to comment on what is posted. As simple as that. There's no point having a mute gallery disguised as a forum thread.

You can just talk about your creations positively without the need for ANYTHING ELSE? I enjoy listening to programmers or casual users just talk about their passions. The entire point of this thread is for you to post your AI discoveries and share it to your like minded people without affecting the rest of the forum or starting the discourse over and over again.

Do you know a productive AI tech talk? For example, I read this since I am legitimately interested in how language is created and talking to "computers." I was hoping for the same caliber of talk here and not see random pot shots.

Yo people, charting a debate on the rules is exactly the opposite of what we should do. Please, debate on a private chat, so we can keep posting AI work. Don't ruin it for the rest.

Zombie has a point that the naysayers should also follow that "rule" of positivity or if they have nothing positive to say, just move on.
Positivity must or should not come only from one side.

I actually think maybe it's time to encourage everyone to be positive about it - but as I said that does include the more vocal side of the naysayers.

Okay, without silliness, the van Gogh style is awesome. Why van Gogh though? I mean, not that is bad, but since Im Dutch and he is a huge part of my country's art history, I wonder why non Dutch people would choose him over DaVinci or Michelangelo.

But do you actually do anything with all that generated art containing your wife, or do you just play around? Either way is great, I am just curious. It feels like you love to play with AI, but to you it is more a toy than a tool. At least the image generator. Am I right? Or do you creat other stuff that you just, but you just like to post the ones with your girl in there.

And please dont think anything of this was meant in a negative manner. Im just curious about your motivation, for no reason.

These aren't portraits though. The landscape and colours are also worth enjoying (imo)


He has more "style" in his painting. If I ask Gemini to do it DaVinci style, it looks almost the same as the original lol not overly exciting. I also did watercolors though, because I thought it looked very pretty. And I've also tried Dali but Gemini tends to be repetitive with it, it just makes a mess and add clocks and random objects. Sometimes it looks fairly good but many times I just find it not super pretty.


I keep them in a folder. Been wondering if I could make a photobook with them though. I have a lot of photobooks of my travels already, but they are very expensive to make.


I do love to play with AI, to test its limits and see what it can (or can't) do. It's fun to see how inconsistent in what they allow all those AI are, too.
I haven't used it as a tool for now. I'm not a huge fan of AI music (I know you like it lol) and the only time I've asked it to write stuff was to test how far it could go.


I like beautiful pictures, for the most part. I've always been a huge fan of photos and digital artworks (I own like 50k photos or maybe more). I'm also a huge fan of music but when it comes to that I prefer to write my own.
