  1. Then I don't know what your issue is. I already stated we already have tested a 256x256 map and I emulated your issue. It's working fine as intended that it caused my PC to crash since it's not like we tested it at 16x16. What else do I have to say?

You can send a demo but now that I have to redo all my work I can't test it out in a specific amount of time.

That is a non-factor really now, as it's proven to not be the issue at hand. I'm glad I got lols for trying stuff though I guess.
I'm glad that me losing precious sleep and time is hilarious to you. Actually it caused the program to create a 'blurred' version which pretty much ed me over. So yeah, it's part of an issue.

? I got lol'd at, not me lol'ing. -_- I received LoLs for trying stuff.

It's why I'm getting a bit short, and I apologize, but it feels either my post and screenshots aren't getting read or looked at (and to each their own, if you don't want to, then don't, but why reply?), but, I feel lately like I just shouldn't ask questions on here at all anymore, because I'm getting things like you need a layer to walk on, and it shows that in the screenshots obviously the grass is what you'd walk on, and that I have other maps already working, but I'm being told I need a layer to walk on.

The issue, as stated, is I can't walk for whatever reason on tiles that have no collision and no draw over settings, as stated from my first post yesterday to now.

Look at the screenshots. I didn't say I put nothing on the layer, and the screenshots show stuff on the layer (the grass?). I said it has no collision or under settings, and there's nothing under the layer (so nothing is blocking it by accident or something) and what's over it doesn't cover it, and is only on parts, and is no collision and drawing under, but not on the part the player starts on (it only has 1 layer where the player starts). Like I said, I have other maps that work fine at 64x64, I know you have to have a layer to walk on.

    ...

Collision isn't set on grass, but the player won't move. If i go to another map, it works fine.

No errors. Anyone else have this problem or care to check? There are 7 layers, the layer isn't upper and isn't collision for the ground...

...you can't move after the map loads. I've checked layers, nothing under the grass except the normal gray emptiness of TileD when nothing is there. It's not set to collision either (no comment paramaters, so it's under and no block)...

I just resized this map to 64x64 and changed the map size in RPG Maker and still can't move, so it wasn't a size issue I guess. Layer count maybe? In the screenshots above, I don't know what could be set wrong, no collision settings so no collision... no above player settings so it should draw under. Nothing under that layer, and only a small amount over it that is also drawing under and not blocking (but where the character starts on the map, it's only 1 layer he's standing on). I have other maps that work fine with tiled and this plugin...

    ?

I did check your screenshots and tried it multiple ways. But hell, I'm sleep deprived as well and I've been prone to irritation spikes. Just send us a demo PM and we'll look at it since that's a LOT easier than us trying to copy whatever you're doing in the screenshots. Since I am looking at it and recreating the scenario many times over and I'm just not getting it. I even used a map with over 70 layers to be sure it's a 'layer' issue.
  4. All good mi amigo. I'm definitely not trying to be rude or difficult while looking for help or reporting any issues. I'm going to try a few other things and if I get it I'll post, if not I'll send a PM some time today.

    P.S.

    GO TO SLEEP. :)
  5. I apologize for my behaviour as well. You're not using different tile grid sizes for the maps in the entire game right? I just had to be sure.
  6. No it's all 16x16 so far.

I'm going to try to recreate the map again and as. Maybe something stupid I did and I'm just missing it, I just don't see anything off...
  7. OK, lemme see if we got this right.

    • The Layer 1 and 2 are both visible check off when you test them
    • Layer 3 seems to have nothing on it. Is that on purpose? Or is it the walkable grass corner?
    • Where does the player position exactly start on the map?
    • Layers 1 and 2 are grass, dirt, and grass overlays. They are visible when using the map, I just hid them in the 2nd and 3rd screenshots to show there was nothing under them blocking.

Layers 1 and 2 are also no settings for collision, and no settings for drawing over so it stays under, as it should. These are layers Under-NoBlk1 and 2.
Any of the other layers don't have anything visible in the screenshot because it's graphics I don't want to show yet, but, it's a house and layers for the roof, some sides, and other things. It wasn't used on the area I showed at all. There are no tiles from those layers where the player starts and should be able to walk.
position is 47,53, which is on the right side of that screenshot in the grass. Remember, it isn't the entire level in the screenshot, but those layers should work as set, as there aren't any other tile layers besides the 2 shown/said in that area at all.

OK, send me a PM with just the map and the graphics in that scene. It's really hard for me to emulate it because we are probably missing something very important. That is if you can't get it fixed since you're recreating the maps. And yes, you're right, I have to sleep since I'm barely comprehending this haha.
  9. Sent. Thank you again too.
  10. I'm posting here too just in case.

I deleted all layers except the last two ground tiles and they work perfectly OK.

Once I added Under-BLK-1 that has collision true property, it's where it becomes an issue. It's very possible you have some transparent tiles that is overlaid on top of walkable tiles.

EDIT: I just confirmed this is the case.
  11. Ty. I feel dumb now lol. :)
  12. It's cool. It got me once too before, I know the pain w.

EDIT: Also nice graphics. I hope your game goes far ~
  13. Thanks. :)

We're still pretty early right now, but it's starting to go together nicely. RPG Maker is pretty nice, especially with javascript, just trying to get used to it all still. No idea how the invis tiles got there, but I suppose that's something that doesn't belong in this thread regardless.
  14. I am pretty certain that i am just dumb for asking this , but I apparently am missing something , the plug in works fine and as intended, thank you all for that , its amazing , but when i test it in game, i am still using the default sprites and they just look wrong , like way too big , so since i am using a 16x 16 grid , what size sprites should i be using ?
  15. It's because they're 48x48 width. You need a sprite style that isn't like that. For example, RPG Maker 2003 sprites.
  16. @Archeia   thank you for the prompt response , and yes it ends up i am dumb for having to ask that ,lol thank you for your help :) I have been driving myself crazy for the last 2 days trying to figure out what size/style of sprites were needed to make it look right , and i finally had to ask, so thank you so very much :)
  17. Feel dumb for not realizing this until now, but you can create makeshift/fake isometric maps by using a tile size with a 2:1 ratio and adding diagonal movement (it's not perfect, but it's probably a much simpler solution than trying to use true iso tiles). Just in case anyone else was hoping to recreate that look. This saves me from having to tackle pixel movement.
  18. So, just because I'm utterly clueless about the sprites and such required, let's just say that I wish to create a sci-fi RPG with the use of TileD for the map editor. Now, since I haven't properly used TileD in ever, and since I'm attempting to figure out the different resources needed for the game's development (sprites and tiles primarily)... you can guess my problem, right, Archeia Nessiah?

Essentially, what I'd like to do is ask how to work the specs out for the game's maps, and how to work the sprites into them. I mean, I have Shaz's Change Tile Size plugin, but what do I need to do extra to make this work?
  19. There's the instructions in the post? I don't understand your question.
