Event - Sleigh the Competition! 2023 Christmas Game Jam

Tbh it'll be really funny if my first completed RPG Maker project is an absolute shamble of a game jam entry. I suppose that's part of the fun though! ^^

That's what game jams are for! It doesn't have to be perfect. (I say, as I've been agonizing over making this tileset perfect, oops. I should take my own advice xD)

I kinda do relate on a deep level to a raccoon drinking a hot beverage. I know I call myself goblin girl all the time, but I can definitely vibe with raccoons because I really, really like snacks.

Finished mapping today! (It's only 3 maps) Now for polish, HUDs, and testing. I have several days coming up where IRL is going to impede any game making.

@NekoCassowary I wouldn't worry about arriving late. You aren't that far behind some of us who will remain nameless and who are still working on their Intro.

They have the Rhyme bug and they just want to spread it. So give them a hug stop it dead. ;)

rhymes could not always rhyme in poems, its how you see it :)
but I try to improvise something, as its not my strong side on it.

Dalph does a better job though, but he goes on and on and on,

I join for fun, as I'm a mechanic maker, but the final level in my game is the best
one you will see for sure (if they make it there that is).

Sick! i already wanted to make a short christmas game so this is the time to do it!

This jam was s'posed to be somethin' I cud procrastinate on instead of doin' my serious projects. But now I'm procrastinating on mockups and ornaments so I don't hafta do this jam, like what the swab y'all! :kaocry:

@alice_gristle Yeah, I keep procrastinating by looking for more resources for my Game Jam instead of actually working on the game. I probably won't even use half of the resources, but it is sort of like an addiction at this point.

I created a project in the editor and put it on Gitgud for source control and showed Kytt how to use Git and put the downward poses of her character graphics in the game and made a short intro introducing you to the character and explaining the gimmick of the game and identified a track online that'll be great for it and that's about it at this point.
