It’s perfect for any and all magic archetypes present in your adventures. Whether a holy magic, a dark magic, or just living your best Sailor Moon life, the colors and combinations are vast.

Place a leaning weeping willow near your game's rivers and give your armies some fitting places to sleep with cloth tents that you can make any size! And if your game takes place in modern times then her chain-link fences need to be in your game to keep your players away from dangerous places (or let them sneak through holes in the fences to grab some important intel).

On this wonderful Day #8 @Guardinthena has provided us with quite an impeccable set of generator pieces, and nothing has been spared. TVs, SVs, you got it. The set features a lot of braided hair styles perfect to create a Viking vibe or even an alternative vibe.

To fill out the chore lists for our hard working maid sprites, we have now been given the ability to sweep and dust from @CCCreations . What a busy household! I wonder when our maids even find the time to sleep? Every day of advent we are becoming more able to bring the never ending work of a high class household to life.

What a bountiful harvest! @Starbird_Resources has released a set of grocery tiles packaged in burlap sacks. Tomatoes, lettuce, onions. Some are wrapped, some are unwrapped! Perfect for staging those market stalls that are in the midst of a busy day. Also provided are some gorgeous glass windows with some iron wrought frames.

Continuing the “NPC Classics” wing for the advent release, @GalacticGod has crafted a mad scientist SV Battler. With Starbird_Resources brain in containers and Gardinthena’s brain pups earlier in the advent, we’ve got ourselves a perfect boss man behind those ghoulish creations!

Today we’ve been provided with a set of doctor sprites in @gniiial ‘s style, and you know what? That’s pretty perfect because I have a feeling we’re going to be getting hurt a lot in this world! On Day #10, @slimmmeiske2 provided us with several colors of a mythical fox battler. Sprites, face sets, and a bust to match. This character looks stoic, strong, and quick on their feet! Day #11 features another set of child sprites, but these are way more focused for modern settings. Each color set has an option with and without a head covering, so these can get used in different seasons as well!

Also coming with aquatic goodies, @GalacticGod has adapted another Thalzon battler into the SV format. This one is a jellyfish with the utmost detail put into its tentacles. It has a delightful (albeit terrifying) bounce. Today, our advent is a rather perfect companion to all the SV battlers that have been prepared for us. We’ve been given 10 battle backs featuring different biomes for a battle on the bridge! Now that’s something we can always use more of!

Yet another truly special resource set from @Avery today. We have a stone knight brought to life. What magic is responsible for this peculiar sight? The set includes a special animation of the statue coming to life and descending from the pedestal. There is also, get this, a face and bust emoset. For armor! It absolutely works though! Avery has been absolutely killing it with SV Battlers and has topped up the set with yet another one, and a stone weapon to boot!

Yes! @Guardinthena has hit us up with a continuation of the brain pups! We were given the young and youngest versions but now we have the ~elder~ brains. Today’s hair style is on the shorter side, yet still a little in between from @WaywardMartian . The ends are not as blunt and feature more of a layered lob than the previous short hair cut. Wearing a pinafore dress with a matching flower clip in her curly hair, this is definitely the coolest girl on the playground. Who says sci-fi games have to feature so much chrome? @Starbird_Resources has created a sheet of resources that will absolutely inject some color (and other metals) into the sci-fi tech panel that’s being built out. With plenty of copper pieces, a diverse array of computer displays, and rainbow power indicators, lookin’ a little less chrome in this lab!

@GalacticGod is tapping back into the war chest of Thalzon battlers for an SV Battler conversion. We’ve gone for the ever-intimidating mantis. Animated through each leg and tippy-tip of the antenna, the once static battler is fully dynamic with arm swings, lunges, and a downed position.

Hair options are quickly expanding in these sets! @WaywardMartian has included another option for bangs/fringe for all those hairstyles that feel a bit incomplete on ~your~ character or for that character with a little more pizazz. After all, the upkeep isn’t for everyone. It takes a special person to rock bangs as a signature hairstyle.

@gniiial has provided some parallaxes for a playground/urban nature scene. Makes me wonder if we’ll see some sprites for younger members of the world soon! There is a painted and unpainted version of the playground. These could either be options, or perhaps it’s old versus new? Maybe the playground is run down from the last time your character remembers using it themselves?

In our delivered-by-mail world it makes no sense to have loot in a gilded chest! @Avery understands that our modern loot is in an unassuming cardboard box. We’ve also been given an alternate wheelchair character set for anyone looking at options for injured or disabled characters.

The biggest treat (for me) is the clothes line, laundry bins, and clothes to hang. This is still common practice in many parts of the world and always gives a cozy “people really do live here” vibe. It should make a comeback in the states. Solar radiation is actually an ~excellent~ sanitizer.

If this day was not already jam-packed enough, we’ve also received a bust set for the SF_Cyborg. Surely, an advanced AI will eventually mimic human emotions!

@Guardinthena has created this absolutely gorgeous saddle-mounted elephant character set. A two-seater! Any adventure you take cannot guarantee you’ll have your trusty steed and vehicles at all times! For a jungle or safari expedition, the mighty elephant may just be the best mode of transportation.

Today is the critter and monster recolor day. Let it be known @hiddenone has bestowed us the most mythical creature of all…a blue crab. I love this little dude. We also have the crow in more of a fire or ice flavor, red + green petit devils, and a green frilled lizard. All with downed poses, all with battlers!

More on the sci-fi front, @Starbird_Resources is taking us even deeper into this tech lab. We have the quintessential creatures in tanks, we’re starting to get some smashed panels, a rack of guns, and probably the show piece…this crystallized super (assuming computer) brain that is probably controlling this entire lab! Story options are endless here. Was it always evil? Did it ascend and become evil? Is it NOT evil?!

@GalacticGod has opted for a tiny break from SV battler and battle accessories to provide one of the (at least ~my~) most beloved resource, tree tiles! Covering all the seasons, IMO diverse tree options really make the exterior map sing. We’ve also been given some tiles of filled crates. Some of the options have monster parts in them so I really sense a potion maker situation!

Accessories really are the way to my heart. Just because you’re going on an adventure doesn’t mean you can’t be cute doing it! @WaywardMartian has come out with a headband and bow tie (which could totally be a hair bow or ADORABLE tie closure on a skirt/dress with a little GIMP). This can fit any of their bases.

We start with an absolutely gorgeous varied tree autotile (because monoculture is not natural, you know?) and go toward some rafts and buses (oh my) to scoot around your world maps. The dark elf MZ_Evil 6 has been imbued with a new palette to transform into the perfect snow or ice queen. Not all RPGs feature a completely human cast so @WaywardMartian has crafted some demon horns and demon tails to add some diversity to your humanoids. These come in different colors if you’d like to go for any themes. These are recommended for the adult bases but I’m betting you GIMP wizards know a way around that~

After the shop exteriors, the natural progression was the interiors~ @gniiial has released the interior parallaxes for the cold treats shop and bakery. Inside are delightful pastry and custard cases. The bakery has opted for that popular rustic chic while the cold treats are going full vintage with that 50s pink and black and white tiles.

If @Guardinthena’s mindflayer earlier in the month was not quite what you had in mind, today we’ve received bases in a wide selection of colors to get you started! I mean, there are even two different kinds of purple! Talk about choice! Very excellent and cohesive color palette if you wanted to use a few variants too~

Ding, ding! MZ! Ding, ding! Come pick up your resources! @CCCreations lock-and-step has added the MZ version of the seesaw pair ups to the sprite behavior roster.

Today we have an incredibly detailed red ogre. I mean. Scroll in on this guy. Holy crap. I guess that’s why @hiddenone is the sprite artist and well…I’m decidedly not. Wild hair, horns, distinguished features, an almost ceremonial touch to the chaotic clothing. This character would be instantly memorable in your game.

A very lovely assortment of sprites today that will compliment the rest of @slimmmeiske2’s calendar! You’ll find an ice queen and crowned prince, but you’ll work your way over to festive Reid and Priscilla. After that we’ve traveled to a selection of downed sprites such as the fairy, the magic fox, the cat girl, a (whoops) forgotten sprite from the extra cat catgirl, and a cat cat (for your transforming needs~).

We’ve gone for an assortment of trees over at @Starbird_Resources. It features one of my favorite color combos too! A yellow-green with a purple-leaning pink. Mauh, perfection. Yes. There are a couple shapes and sizes available as well as without blossoms. Gorgeous palette for spring time settings.

The fierce red eyes truly jump against the nearly neon tone of this goblin’s skin. @GalacticGod has hopped back over to the NPC Classics for a sprite and SV Battler of a goblin character today. Huge ears, ridged foreheads, and strong facial features in the calendar once again. Do these pesky dudes torment the early game or are they ever present in your story telling?

Ooooeee~ more bases! @WaywardMartian has made some teen bases for the non-human character archetypes so they can share the same height and age diversity as the humans. Bet you could come up with some really cool dudes with some of the demon/monster parts!

You know, a bathroom parallax is kind of perfect. Don’t underestimate it. The more modern and more grungy the setting, well…the more questions we have. Like, “where are the bathrooms?” Besides, we know IRL that bathrooms are not always used for uh…bathrooming?
