  1. I ACTUALLY COMPLETED A REVIEW :kaoswt:
  2. Did probably my last game.

This whole event was a great idea, got to play some pretty sweet games!
  3. Another review is up. Wooo!
  4. I did a review of Forest Life - Christmas Edition. Maybe I can get to five.
  5. I did it. I got to ten. And what a doozy of a final game it was.
  6. Hell Yeah! Love seeing these final hour reviews! Especially from new players!!
We have a full today and a full tomorrow to crank these out!

You guys have done a tremendous job.

  7. Number 8 loaded into the chamber!
  8. I reviewed Mana Engine and Your Canvas as #3 and #4. Probably only going to make it to five.

Edit: Just did Foxblade Fable for #5. I don't have it in me to do five more today so that's it.
  9. That was quite a tiring finish, since I wanted to get all 10 done before the deadline, but also didn't want to compromise on quality. But I did somehow manage.

I tried to focus on games that didn't have any feedback written for them yet, and mostly stuck to that - except for one where I got "ninja'd" by @Canned_Dinosaur and for "Trial and Error" which looked too interesting not to give it a try.

The event was a lot of fun! I got to experience some interesting games, and the people I've written feedback for seemed really happy to receive it. It is such a cool idea, and I hope we see something similar in the future at some point.
And by now I've written so much feedback that I automatically started writing feedback for the Festival too. I really should be going to sleep (I do appreciate the deadline being on a Friday :p ).

@Ms Littlefish mentioned that the organisers are planning on reading all reviews written here. This sounds like an absolutely gargantuan undertaking - so good luck to everyone doing that! Your effort is greatly appreciated.
  10. Friday deadline definitely wasn’t on purpose. I guess the 2025 calendar just kinda lucked into that. Works for us too. ‘Cause…if I had to read it on a Wednesday or something, I’d probably be big mad.
  11. Boy, looks like I have a few hours before deadline. Let's see if I can get these last two done.
  12. Ms Littlefish said:
    Do it. Moderator orders. @Sword_of_Dusk
On it, ma'am. Number 9 is up.

EDIT: I somehow managed to hit 10! It was down to the wire on this one!
  13. A’ight folks! I’m going to temporarily lock this while we’re looking through all the work. It will take us, at minimum, the weekend. Once we’re ready to start dishing out badges and accolades we’ll open back up and get the party started.

I really appreciate everyone who took the time and effort to spread the gift of feedback. It can be quite some work, but I hope everyone experienced the ways they can inspire growth with each other.
  14. Quick update! Everything is all read, judged, and ready to go here soon. We’re just waiting for the admins to load up the badges so we can get them issued! :wub
  15. Okay folks! That was my first time applying badges. Let me know if I messed any of that up!!

    @hiddenone and I deliberated.

For Friend to Newbies, we thought that @Canned_Dinosaur focused on some fresh accounts and games with no comments while also providing very positive and encouraging feedback. We also believe @Mac15001900 did much of the same and often included some extremely detailed feedback on top of that!

For Diamond Miner, we thought it was fantastic that @Beregon went back and revisited so many older horror games, even though some had moved on to other projects or engines. We also thought @AquaEcho took a step into the older pages of the game forums to seek out a couple more forgotten projects.

For In the Weeds, we were seriously impressed with the immense amount of observation and detail @RCXGaming made on every review. Each review contained equal attention and effort that really honed in on small, individual elements of the game. We also really enjoyed the special attention and actionable feedback for battle mechanics and in-game economics that @Sword_of_Dusk frequently made during his reviews.

Our super secret badge was awarded to @TRIDIUM !! He was awarded Brilliant Bloom for playing the MOST games during the entire event! You really embraced the spirit of the event by not stopping at 10!

Thank you to everyone who participated! We initially were only going to give out the special badges to one member for each category, but we really felt like there was a great response that warranted consideration for multiple winners.

We thought you all did an incredible job and we hope you enjoyed the event! We can definitely see ourselves improving it and doing it again later this year!
  16. Great job everyone, y'all really did make it hard for us to decide on the winners!
