RPG Maker MV Lags?

This is great but of course does not solve the odd editor stuff for me sadly. I was actually trying to ignore blacklist for android devices. Hopefully when things settle down someone figures out how to do it right via intel xdk.To everyone who posted here, please check this topic:

SOLVED
The NeonBlack CP_Large_Sprite_Fix plugin was causing pretty much 100% of my lag. I turned it off and i now get 60fps. There's still some studder going on here and there, but otherwise things are smooth smoooth smooooth. Don't know what it is about that plugin, but for my case, it was most certainly the problem.
SOLVED
I'll look into if it works better placed in different parts of the plugin list.
After i see how everything responds to Windows 10

Editor lag generally everywhere.
Ridiculous playtest lag.
Takes my laptop over 10 minutes to become usable after any playtest attempt.
Attempting to switch maps in the editor after playtesting crashes my computer, unless i'm very lucky it recovers after a long while.
I'm downloading Windows 10 to see if it makes a difference. -
I'm experiencing little to no lag for the editor. But when test playing the game it lagged a lot, especially when moving to a new map and opening the menu.
But oddly, when I tried to test play it on a browser, it works perfect. Will try to test it further on battles.
i5 750 @ 2.67GHz
Win7 Ultimate 64
GeForce GTS250 (yes its ancient)
4GB RAM -
100x100 all water A tiles l get between 100-140 fps
its obviously weaker CPUs who has performance issues -
It´s having lags when playtesting the project. A little bit with the standard resolution, more when using my laptops native resolution (1366 x 768).
It also takes about a second to switch between the tabs in the database and to open windows in general.
With open database, the RPG Maker has average CPU usage of 2-3% and it uses 210.7MB of the RAM.
When playtesting in standard resolution, it reaches a peak of 1% CPU usage.
When playtesting in 1366 x 768 resolution where it lags very much, the CPU usage won´t go over a peak of about 2-3%
I own a Toshiba laptop with following specs:
Intel Pentium CPU N3530 @ 2.16GHz 2.16GHz
64-Bit Windows 8.1
8GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics
465GB HDD (297GB free space)
Edit: The playtest-lagg only occurs when there are lots of water autotiles -

Not true, I've seen people talking about the lag100x100 all water A tiles l get between 100-140 fps
its obviously weaker CPUs who has performance issues
who have at least 3.0Ghz and NVIDIA 900 series
and 8GB / 16GB of Rams.
It's random, and there are memory leaks.
Open Task Manager and use "Always on Top"
Use the engine for a few minutes and play test a few times.
The memory will jump from 140MB's to 300MB's eventually even when barely doing anything.
You can even let it sit there and the memory will still increase.
After about 40minutes ~ 1 hour of editing, it will get so delayed and laggy you'll
have to save the project, close and re-open it again so the memory resets.
People shouldn't have to have High End computers for a 2D Game Engine.
This isn't Unity or anything.
Look at the previous makers, you can use a low-end Windows XP and have no problems with any of them.
The lag, and memory leaks and stuff is random for everyone.
It probably just takes longer for yours to become more noticeable.
There is no 500x500 maps for MV.Maybe this is helpful, but i get no lags.
Im always on 60 FPS, with 500x500 maps full of water and some other Autotiles.
It's only 256x256. -
I've been working on an MV project for about 3 hours now. After about 40minutes ~ 1 hour of editing, it will get so delayed and laggy you'll
have to save the project, close and re-open it again so the memory resets.
I've encountered no problems. -

Good for you, but the people who'll play your game will definitely encounter problems, especially with autotiles.I've been working on an MV project for about 3 hours now.
I've encountered no problems.
I can't even think how it'll look on phones that aren't of the highest quality... -

This is a great test for older computers. I have a decent laptop so I will test the rpg maker mv on it later, but I can tell you right now ANY game at this point made in RPG Maker MV runs like CRAP for older pcs.
When I click to walk the screen is very jumpy. This is without water tiles or anything animated or events. I tried running in test mode and stand alone. I didn't see any difference. The actual program RPG MAKER MV is brutal to use. It takes me awhile to open anything and it lags my entire computer. All other previous versions of Rpg Maker runs smooth as do the games. Sometimes if I have too many events I would get lag, but nothing on the scale of this.
So unless the lag issue is fixed, be careful publishing any games. If you plan to release it's going to alienate a lot of people around the world. -
I get horrible lag, The game can take up to 5 minutes to load the first map. Any transfer character can lag a good 10-20 seconds or more. Half the time I can not tell if I can move or not. This is in both playtesting and playing the fully deployed game. The actual RPG Maker VX interface works great.

Download the Quadro FX 3200M Performance driver for Windows 7 and then try again. You are using out of date drivers.I get horrible lag, The game can take up to 5 minutes to load the first map. Everyone else with an nVIDIA graphics part, make sure to install the most recent drivers from the website. If you use only the WHQL drivers from Windows Update, you do not get the OpenGL ES 3.2 drivers as the WU drivers only install the bare-minimum. -
Thank you, I will try this. I have used the nvidia driver finder tool on their website and updated with that. (Honestly I have had a lot of driver issues and more recently BSOD crashes) So hopefully it works :)
EDIT1: It does still lag but is much better.

Hello, first post. I'm getting lag when I drag the window of RPG Maker MV. It's not insufferable, but Ace never did this so, it's a bit weird.
Here are my specs:
