For me it's test playing.
The frame rates jump between 61 to 37 at random.
RPG Maker MV Lags?

No lag for me during battles. As someone said before me, using a small amount of water auto tiles seems to cause some really bad stutter. The lag goes away when walking away from them.(This is all test play)

This is a great test for older computers. I have a decent laptop so I will test the rpg maker mv on it later, but I can tell you right now ANY game at this point made in RPG Maker MV runs like CRAP for older pcs.
When I click to walk the screen is very jumpy. This is without water tiles or anything animated or events. I tried running in test mode and stand alone. I didn't see any difference. The actual program RPG MAKER MV is brutal to use. It takes me awhile to open anything and it lags my entire computer. All other previous versions of Rpg Maker runs smooth as do the games. Sometimes if I have too many events I would get lag, but nothing on the scale of this.
So unless the lag issue is fixed, be careful publishing any games. If you plan to release it's going to alienate a lot of people around the world. -

Minha tela fica toda branca e isso é só na versão trial! Imagina na versão Full. Espero qeu eu não tenha gastado 124 reais a toa.My screen is all white and it is only in trial version! Imagine the Full version. I hope I have not spent 124 real wonder. -
@Rayner have you updated your graphics card?

My issue is mainly with the audio tho, it seems to act weird for a little bit before returning to normal. I have no such issue with any other audio based program. -
Same. The engine works after I rolled back my Graphics Drivers. For me it's test playing.
The frame rates jump between 61 to 37 at random.
But playtesting behaves erratically. I can make games, but not play them.
How do I open System Information on Windows 8.1?
For now all I can find is this:

How do I open System Information on Windows 8.1?
For now all I can find is this:
This might help.

Open your start menu and type "System" ?
This might be a better choice. -
Sim. Quando baixei a versão trial, ela não abria, ficava toda branca e depois disso eu li alguns comentários e vi que tinha que atualizar a placa gráfica, mas também não adiantou.@Rayner have you updated your graphics card?
Yes. When I downloaded the trial version, it would not open, it was all white and after that I read some reviews and saw that it had to upgrade the graphic card, but also to no avail. -
It's Windows 8.1. There is no Start Menu.Here.
This might help.

There's actually a way to disable some stuff on Windows 8/8.1 where you can have a start menu on the desktop again. It's Windows 8.1. There is no Start Menu.
Searching the Start Screen gives no results.
A lot of people actually have done this because they were used to Windows 7 originally.
I should be getting my gaming PC which happens to be Windows 8.1 Sunday.
I can probably help out since
I will need to re-post my new specs soon. -
This is a copy and paste from microsoft website. "Open System by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering System in the search box, and tapping or clicking System."It's Windows 8.1. There is no Start Menu.

That gives me the basic one not the massive list everyone is posting. This is a copy and paste from microsoft website. Edit:
That works for Windows 10 but not 8.1 :/This might be a better choice. -

I believe I posted this earlier in the thread, but here goes again: Press the Windows Key (the key that has the four squares on it, like the Windows logo) and the R key. This will bring up the Run window. In the text field in the Run window, type "msinfo32" without the quotes, and press Enter or click on OK. This will bring up the System Information window. Take a screen shot of that page and post it. On the left hand side of the System Information window is a menu list. Click on the + next to Components, then click on Display. Take a screen shot of that screen and post it as well.
Windows Key + R
type msinfo32
Enter (or click OK)

Click on + next to Components
Click on Display

Update your Display Drivers.here the pics... For me its not lagging because after screenspalsh it stuck on a white screen.
You have the basic Microsoft one, that won't work with it (Believe me, I tried.)
Install the correct drivers for your Graphics and it should work.
Edit: Derp, sorry about the Double Post, wasn't thinking straight :/ -
All those of you saying it doesn't lag on your computers, are you using autotiles on your maps? If so, what amount? Fill a map of at least 30x30 or 40x23 with just water and play test. The game will constantly go from 55/57 to 30-40 depending on your computer specs. There's something going on with autotiles, and this happens with and without using plugins, so it's something with the base program.
