yes I have the last version installed , and thanks for the command , but why this happened ? I would like to understand
I pass trough people but I don't pass trough wall so it don't set my floor levels higher ?
    Thank you for the message,

Each event and player have their own floor level and with out seeing region and tileset setup it's impossible to say why that happened.

Also make sure that you are using RMMV v1.6 or later version.
  2. Hey OcRam, there seems to be some sort of conflict between this plugin and KageDesu's VPlayer plugin that sometimes causes flickering to happen (here's a video showcasing it) in the video I'm showing it happen with an event however I've also seen it happen on tiles under which the player can walk through (region 19)

am using MV 1.6.2 and passages v4.09 and VPlayer 1.1 (in the video I used VPlayer 1.0 but I've since updated it to 1.1 without the flickering going away)

is it something you can prevent/fix or is it something in the VPlayer plugin that should be changed?

    Thank you for the message,

Apparently VPlayer is doing that (flickering) even on fresh project without other plugins?
  4. yes it did also happen on a fresh project too
  5. Little question: After entering the Passages_2_levels map of the demo, you can't interact with the 'Back to home town' vortex until you move on one of the passage-relative region, like the plugin was still thinking the player is in an higher region. Is it the expected behaviour?

To put it differently, do I have to set myself the player event to the correct floor when he/she teleport to a location with a different height?
  6. @Alexandre if you teleport and it stays on the same level, a nice alternative way is to
place the regon ID to set it lower which because the same level again.

the same way if you teleport back (you can either use 1 region on the teleport spot
to see if it works) else, around the player or the direction the player can walk only.

if neither works, it can be a bug, but its the best way I can think off :)

    Thank you for the message,

Plugin will auto assign player "floor level" if it is not defined. If "floor level" is defined it will be used. So like ShadowDragon mentioned you should paint transfer location with under/overpass region id to force player to certain level.
Or then use plugin command "floor_level -1 high" or "floor_level -1 low" to force player "floor level".

Edit: Oh, and it's a bug in demo project havn't painted vortex with region id 16 :D
  8. Hi, thank so much for making this plug in, it's obvious how much time it must have taken!

Forgive me if this was answered already, but I've done a cursory look through some of the pages.

When I change floor levels up or down, by going over either region id 17 or 18, the graphic on region 16 gets redrawn one pixel to the right.

So basically every time I switch a floor, every 16 tile "shifts" slightly, and then shifts back when I descend.

It even does this on a fresh game with only this plugin running.
Just wondering if there was any way to fix this?
    thank you!

Nevermind! I had a very outdated version, the "latest version" link took me to 1.08.

I totally misread what you asked here at the time,
no, from what I've seen the flickering doesn't appear with just VPlayer without Passages (since it just seems to be z-fighting somehow)
  11. Thank you so much for your plugin! Saved me a world of headaches.
  12. Hey OcRam,

I have a very strange question for you about this plugin. It's absolutely fantastic, works like a charm (took me a little bit to understand how each region tag worked, but I got there) and it opens so many different possibilities on how I can change the mapping to a different style. I unfortunately, have an error that keeps propping whenever I try to save.

Loading a game, no issues, except it gives the top images' error, where it doesn't really say anything that would help. Saving on a new clean game, gives more details.

I've tried moving the plugin in the manager to various positions, i've turned everything off and on again (which causes quite a bit of overall breakage lol) I tried the demo and added in YEP_SaveCore to see if there was an issue, and nope, that's fine. I'm at a complete loss as to what could possibly be causing this issue.

As my plugin list is extremely long, if theres any keywords I should be looking for to find a possibly compatibility issue with another plugin, could you let me know per chance, if not, i could send you my plugins and see if you can see anything.

  13. Hey @OcRam. Proud supporter of your work and I’m using them all . A thought if you will. One issue I’m having is diagonal stairs. Now there are solutions out there but none seem to work perfectly with your Passages plugin and to be honest, why not have a one stop shop for all things “direction by region”. Let me know your thoughts. I’d be happy to discuss in further detail.

    Thank you for the message,

Which diagonal stair movement plugins you have tried?
  15. Hi. Thank you for making such a good plugin that I want to make it, but when I start test my game, it shows me there's an error of this plugin.
    Picture:
    Screenshot (91).png

    Screenshot (92).png

This what happened when I tested my game, so please check and send it please.
Detail: I used some plugins for my project, like "Yanfly" - "Galv" - "Sumrndm" and more of them.
  16. @Killerslash can you provide a screenshot of your plugins?
the plugin works for most yanfly and galvs plugin.

my guess is that the plugins arent in the correct order or used it wrong (or typo
in your event when using comment/notetag higher/lower level)
  17. Only way to debug this further is to turn other plugins "off" one by one. My guess is that proSnapMinimap might be the one.

And like @ShadowDragon said plugin order matters a lot. Try to move them a bit and test results.
  18. @Killerslash your YEP plugins are out of order (correct those as provided on his/her website)
futher more, Ocram_Passages Plugin should be placed above srd plugins, and above utilities.
and anything that has to be with movements to work it best.

Remember, that some plugins can be overwrite some function, so read the plugin HELP or
the plugin itself to see what it overwrite, aliased, and be sure its either below or above.

aliased is best if above, when overwrite, below, but this is something you need to test.
if the problem persist, turn off all plugins, and see which cause the error, than report back
with the error from the console log so Ocram can provide more details how to fix it or
a fix needs to be made.
  19. It's working now. It should be top of my plugins (like the 1st plugin Ocram_Passages), thank you so much.
Now it's time to make my project
  20. Latest version v2.10 is now released.

Fixed a bug if there's less than 4 actors in game (Credits to @Usaku-chan )

Now compatible with GALV_Fishing (import before OcRam_Passages) (Credits to @clitvin )
