  1. @Arisa-Chan Actually, I had someone confuse me for a female here once. But I also had a different forum avatar at the time, so I think the name was at most only half the problem.
  2. leviticus, but with out the L and spelt wrong.
  3. When I was in my fanfict years, I had a character named Scarlet Foxfire, and someone went up and called me "Mr. Foxfire" one day. I was looking for a good non de plum to use, and "David Foxfire" stuck. What can I say, it was an improvement from the names they did call me when I was younger. Some of them weren't safe for work.
  4. Hey, Jordman the swordman! I think the best way to come up with a name is through anagrams...

    So, take letters of the name you like so say hokey and mark turn it into markey.

    My name is Jordan, and I love swords... So I named my self Jordman the swordman... I heard it from this old guy whom I hung out with...

    I wont tell you the other name that he gave me it's not appropriate...

    My favorite character name is Jaor-Mun-Djirr. Which is a mythological beast in Summerian mythology.

    Hopefully North-Korea wont kill us too soon...
  5. I'm bored and I exist.
    I know, top creativity there, intelligence at it's peak.
  6. Me?
    Actually I have two original characters that have a same name, "Ariel". And both of them are male and Cyborg type too. Then I decided to name it "ArielSystem" to every Project I made.
  7. My name "Dreamfall" comes from the adventure game Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. :smile:

  8. Wayne is my second name, so I just added an "e" and my birth year.
  9. My username 'KayZaman'.....well, Kay is just my nickname but Zaman is real. Why?

    Why?
    How should I know? It means 'time' or 'age'

    @Amysaurus Velociraptor is my fav
    @Caitlin Daughter?!
    @Kyoku What game?!
    @taarna23 That movie was really not for kids...seriously.
    @HexMozart88 That 'Super Hexagon'?! Moving the dot around the hexagon?!
    @Dalph Me too.
  10. @KayZaman Yeah. I love my twitch games. XD
  11. I got mine from a name of a game, that I want to create.
  12. I played a really *ancient* strategy game where the bad guys were called The Confederacy. I discovered there was a forum for the game so I registered to it. I couldn't think of a good username so I just went with Confederacy based off of them from the game and well the name has stuck ever since then.
  13. How i got my username ?
    Normally my username is "SaviorofGallia" (Thats how i usually name myself in MMO's and Twich etc,)
    Savior of Gallia is from an achievement/trophy from the game Valkyria Chronicles.

    In the past Gallia was the west part of Europe. I live there in the present... Like right now XD.
    Savior is ....a person who saves someone or something from danger or difficulty.
    Which means it is supporting someone.
    The Support class is what i usually pick when i play MMO's.
    Supporting = Helping, and i want to help if i can, or if its requested.

    When i made my account here, i deleted "Saviorof" because i want a shorter name, and the result is "Gallia"

    It's actually interesting since I assumed your username just meant darkest shadows or eclipse (or possibly safety in shadows, since umbral is Spanish for threshold), since an umbra is the darkest, innermost part of a shadow by definition. Never would have guessed it was actually your real name as well. Not that there is anything wrong with it as a name, it's actually a really cool one; it just seems more like the name a game designer would give to a powerful demon or cursed realm than what parents would want as their child's namesake. I bet there is an interesting story behind that as well.

    my half brother was named after light.. ... so like a darkness light thing an since then yeah ive seen games an characters named umbra but i'm tha only umbra i kno irl. i wish i got tha "light" name tho. ... not shure i'm all that dark ahahahhh.
  18. Hey that's better than when parents decide to denote siblings by making their names all rhyme with each other, and at least you don't have to worry about finding yourself at a classroom/job with a bunch of other Umbras. My fourth grade class had six Jesses in it, and my current boss also shares my real name. A lot of times I wish my parents had done something clever like that rather than just defaulting to popular Christian names for me and my brother of which there are tens of thousands of people walking around with the exact same name.
  19. My actual name is kind of weird, actually. My first name is a last name and my last name is a first name, so I often get called by my last name even though it's normally not used on this gender. And then when people finally call me by my first name, it's usually butchered and sometimes they don't even care when I correct them. Creative, sure. But sometimes, I think I'd prefer a name like Hex. Kind of why I came up with a username like this, 'cause these are words you can't fail horribly at pronouncing.
