  1. Why do I display this image instead of the sample image?

    Also, I use higher characters....
What is the parameter to change to move the box?
  2. Check the plugin settings - they control how the message boxes will look and also has the Y Offset to use for high characters.

    Thanks Galv ^^
  4. Hi Galv! Is it possible to make this awesome plugin compatible with the MBS Map Zoom? I'm using both, but the text appears a little to the left of the event...maybe can we move it a bit, or is it too complicated? Or having an "X offset"? Just guessing...haha

    Thanks in advance!
  5. Sorry, I have no plans to make my plugin compatible with that one.
  6. Is it possible to put the face graphic above the message window? I'd like to include a visual of whose talking or if we could rescale the image for the face that'd work as well.
  7. That functionality isn't included in this plugin, sorry.
  8. Updated to version 2.8
    - Fixed bug with 'bottom' aligned messages not moving to 'top' when leaving bottom of screen.
    - Added ability to change windowskin and arrow graphics during game
    - Made choices auto-position to the top if they go off screen

Awesome!!! Surely this will make the plugin even more awesome.
  10. I love this even if I'm not using it in my game. It adds a lot of charm to things - anything that reminds me of Paper Mario is a plus.
  11. Hi, I run into a problem, I tried to change opacity and stuffs in message styles plugin but it doesn't fix it. There is a either a transparent or dark hole between the message. Any ideas what might cause this ? Thanks
  12. In your database > System tab, make sure the window color is set to 0,0,0 and set the 'Windowskin Back Opacity' plugin setting to 255.
  13. Hello I tried your solution but still run into the same problem :(
  14. Nevermind I found the plugin which was in conflict in it, and now your solution works perfectly, thank you ! Great plugin btw !

  16. Hi @Galv. I did run into a problem with this lovely plugin.
For some reason Y Offset is not working for me.
I already turned all other plugins off, so I'm pretty sure it's not a conflict of plugins.

I'm using v2.8 of this plugin and RMMV 1.5.1.
Not sure what the issue might be. I tried to move the textbox up above the heads.
But no matter what I type into the Y Offset nothing is happening, it always stays at the default distance.

Would be awesome if you could help me :3 thanks!
  17. @Plueschkatze To get the message to appear overhead you need to change the window position to "top" in the show text command itself.

Though I think you're correct in saying Y offset isn't working when the window position is set at bottom, it did seem to work when it was changed to top.
  18. Oh thanks @Rhino I've been so focused on the y offset that I don't think of the position in the text message itself. Tho the offset still didn't work even if I chose something like 80 or 120 to get it further down than the default 60.
Anyway this has already been super helpful! X3
  19. One day when I get time I will look into this. Currently I am the middle of life changes so cannot look soon.
  20. Is there anyway for you make an option that auto positions the message based on position?

Ex. If player is north of the npc event and talks to it, the event message will display below. Or if the player is south of the NPC event, the message will display above!
