@Frobiclem, thank you so much! For interior design system I use some of "build and decor" series - you can look for it for RM MV and some eventing (common events).

I've been struggling with the Plugin for two hours and I still find this error !! You got it ?? And is it the Build_and_decor_ex plugin that you used? -
Damn the image is not gone!

I'm using this plugin as well, I already answer you on your other post you open. 'Turn off' all of your other plugins in your project and see if it works (it should). If it's still not working, open 'Play Testing' and click f8 or f12 to open the console then take a picture and upload that to your other post (not here please, this is a post for a 'project' and not a post to ask about errors for plugins). -
nice game. i try it and like the concept of the city restoration... the mapping is good... like the train station... and you also made good cutscenes with little extra detail that make the cutscenes look better (like tidying the bed, etc). the crafting and blueprint system also clever design... remind me of minecraft crafting :D.
some critics for the Carpenter Story
Spoiler1. the time is super fast... and you might need to add a clock hud to help the player see the time easier...
2. i also encounter rare bugs which crash the game... the error message show about the Hime Choice plugins. but i cannot replicate the bugs. i think i talk to npc too fast or something.
3. after finishing the opening cutscenes... i open the menu... and there's 2 choices. "Rucksack" and "Main Menu". I try to click on "Main Menu" because i thought it will open another menu list like skills or equip or etc... and then i go back to the title. I have to rewatch the opening cutscenes again. maybe adding some text explaining the menu is for going to title and confirmation Yes/No dialog after pressing the Main Menu would be helpful. and maybe change "Main Menu" to Return to Title could also explain the menu better
4. after 15 days or so the game become a bit repetitive... Maybe add some interaction with the villager. for example we can work part time at the cafe and do some part time work minigames...
5. maybe adding some villager that did not open a shop too... so they can become the customer in those shops instead... an empty shops and cafe without any customer look a bit empty.
i also did not know you use my plugins... as far as i know the plugins should not work in the latest mv version because of the updates. >.<.
keep up the good work. hope to see this game released soon. -
@estriole, thank you for playing! Also, thanks for positive and negative feedback, I really appreciate it. I've changed the option to "Title Screen" instead, then. Also I love the idea with part-time jobs. I'll try to improve CS as much as I can. And thanks for making Carpentry Story playable (using your scripts!) :)

found a new minor bug.@estriole, thank you for playing! Also, thanks for positive and negative feedback, I really appreciate it. I've changed the option to "Title Screen" instead, then. i craft spinning wheel... and success..
then after that i craft another furniture but accidentally got the recipe wrong (i think it's lumber but apparently it's a beam in the recipe)... the furniture failed...
and i got fleece wheel which is failsafe event you created in case people craft the spinning wheel wrong and lost the fleece wheel.
it's a minor bugs that did not break the game btw... -
Oh, need to fix that for sure! Thanks!

Just wanted to say that version 1.4.4 is out. Not much this time, but still...
Version 1.4.4 is out!
- fixed bug with dissappearing mine stairs (thanks to Asia)
- rebalanced prices in market stand
- you can sell more items and cooked food at the market
- added beehives randomly found in trees (you can sell them)
- added barrels in mine (you can find some coins inside them)
- firewood now can be sold to the Inn (can't sold at market anymore)
- you can buy cookies as a take-away energy restorer in the Cafe
- you can put tablecloth on tables (in your house)
- added fishing spot in ocean; added prawns and corals
-
It's nice and all but I can't find the stairs for lower mine levels anymore after I found the key and I need marble for the repairs. I can't find mushrooms too. The bakery lady didn't told me what she needed, I tried the glass cupboard and I was right, but she just expect me to give her furniture.
It would be nice a way to use a recipe automatically, like repeat the last one to not waste time. I'm waiting for updates :D -
Thank you so much! Stairs need to be fixed again, yeah, but as I promised I need to re-do all the mine, so...I'm working on it. Nice idea with "know what you need to give". Mushroom seems to work just fine, but they are very random and only one per day (max) in random location in forest (can be behind tree). It's nice and all but I can't find the stairs for lower mine levels anymore after I found the key and I need marble for the repairs. I really love this game. I played it (version 1.5.5) for hours today, played over 60 in-game days and have unlocked almost all the buildings (I still have to repair the church and the square and). It's really fun and the map is gorgeous. I am really excited to keep playing and I'm going to alert everyonespoilerfind a way down the large well
Some suggestions for improvement:
Suggestions for improvementWhile the map is gorgeous, there are a few glitches. You can enter the black area of the cave entrance map by walking down next to the barrels near the entrance. The character glitches through the top of the cellar door at the pub. And personally, I wish the beds for the "progress trees" around the town square didn't overlap with the path tiles, it looks a little off.
Bugs and errors:
Some of the displays at the shops - I noticed it with one bookshelf at the library and a few of the flower stands - still appear fully stocked immediately (although the bookshelf doesn't have a blueprint at first, just books inside it).
The characters asks for a "small table" but the blueprint is named "round table," which made me look for a small table blueprint for two in-game days before I decided to give the round table a try.
The barrel blueprint asks for a seafood type of clamp rather than the metal clamp, but I was able to figure that out and it works.
Sometimes when I enter the forest area, I am randomly awarded a mushroom and twice that led to a mushroom icon hovering on the screen for a while - once for the whole rest of the game day, the next time until I picked up another mushroom.
The saves show hours played but those don't seem to match for how long I've actually played. (I started playing at noon today and at 5pm, the counter said I've played for over 7 hours, which is impossible.)
The "maybe I'm missing something" thoughts:
I haven't been able to find anyone to sell the seashells to.
I also had no reason so far to use the escape rope.
The "I know everyone has mentioned this already but I want to second this anyway":
I love the game and as it feels very quick, I don't think you need the town to be very lively for the initial release. But I would love to see the town lore and characters expanded in order to have a reason to play the game more than once.
A "repeat previous blueprint" button would be amazing, but it's not a necessity for me. Although, the blueprint scanner could help a lot with that; I haven't tried it out yet.
If you can get someone to proofread the texts, that would improve the quality of the game as well. They are fine, but there are some grammar and spelling errors that make the game look less polished than it could be.
Overall, thank you for the enjoyable experience, I can't wait to see what else you do with the game! -
Dear @curiositys , thank you for a detailed review! I'm happy that you pointed out bugs and mistakes, so I could fix them! So happy you played so long... I's liek a big compliement for me. I'm studying your bug list, could you please tell me what do you mean by "And personally, I wish the beds for the "progress trees" around the town square didn't overlap with the path tiles, it looks a little off"? I think I do not understand that (not as good in english, sorry) ^^'
Fixed. While the map is gorgeous, there are a few glitches. You can enter the black area of the cave entrance map by walking down next to the barrels near the entrance.
Can you tell me when it happens? When you transfer from map to map or something? The character glitches through the top of the cellar door at the pub.
This one I don't really understand. Can you precise it? Sorry, I'm not too good in english. And personally, I wish the beds for the "progress trees" around the town square didn't overlap with the path tiles, it looks a little off.
I will check this out.Bugs and errors:
Some of the displays at the shops - I noticed it with one bookshelf at the library and a few of the flower stands - still appear fully stocked immediately (although the bookshelf doesn't have a blueprint at first, just books inside it).

Fixed (that one was funny, haha). The barrel blueprint asks for a seafood type of clamp rather than the metal clamp, but I was able to figure that out and it works.
I think I fixed this one, too.Sometimes when I enter the forest area, I am randomly awarded a mushroom and twice that led to a mushroom icon hovering on the screen for a while - once for the whole rest of the game day, the next time until I picked up another mushroom.
This one is weird, because playtime is calculated by the RM engine itself. Don't know why it shows wrong values. The saves show hours played but those don't seem to match for how long I've actually played. (I started playing at noon today and at 5pm, the counter said I've played for over 7 hours, which is impossible.)
Yes, there isn't any merchant where you can sell pretty shells right now. Option to sell them will be added in another update. The "maybe I'm missing something" thoughts:
I haven't been able to find anyone to sell the seashells to.
Escape rope can be used in mine (that generated room with rocks to dig), when you're stuck for some reasons (i'm not 100% sure if the generator works perfect, so... you've got that escape rope);I also had no reason so far to use the escape rope.
I want to add more missions for already fixed/opened shops, also would be cool to upgrade building later, but this is a lot of works, so... I hope I will include this later. The "I know everyone has mentioned this already but I want to second this anyway":
I love the game and as it feels very quick, I don't think you need the town to be very lively for the initial release. But I would love to see the town lore and characters expanded in order to have a reason to play the game more than once.
Yes, that's where blueprint scanner comes in.A "repeat previous blueprint" button would be amazing, but it's not a necessity for me. Although, the blueprint scanner could help a lot with that; I haven't tried it out yet.
When I'll do the "okay, this is complete" update, i'll look for a person who could proofreads the texts, I know they can be mistakes, grammar errors, etc, so...sorry for that. Doing my best, though. If you can get someone to proofread the texts, that would improve the quality of the game as well. They are fine, but there are some grammar and spelling errors that make the game look less polished than it could be.
