Well, only as long as you don't get in the way of their prime objectives. :p And it is something we can't contain, because that is goes out of its way to solve reach their goal is what makes an AI an AI. If everything was preprogrammed, it nothing but a chat-bot. :p

But I realize that is not the topic of this thread, so I guess I have to show what I do with AI now... Bot lately I have only generated coins with AI...

There is an interesting old one on my HDD, though... I asked AI once to make me look like a little princess, just as a joke in our private conversation. What AI came up with was adorable, but it looks nothing like me. :p

Yes, she created the tileset and the map using the tileset. It works the same way with the created tileset; an image editor is needed to add it to the game. This is different from paid resources where everything comes pre-organized and ready to use. AI doesn't follow image dimension standards. However, there are several image mapping methods, such as parallax, which is a panorama method, or even the tileset grid. The manual work is transferred from the map editor to the image editor (for visual design) and to programming (for collision and layers in RPG Maker). This technique, although laborious, allows the use of any image, including those generated by AI, with maximum detail and visual freedom.

It is funny you call it 'she'. I used to do that about my google assistant until my nephew pointed it out... It's almost creepy how we subconsciously personify AI. :p

Well, I thought it was a single image, because the smoke and trees are not exact copies of each other. :p Which is cool, but not really RPG maker, so that is why I wondered.

You can still use them in cutscenes or interfaces where you need an image of your village.

I asked Gemini to make a cover image, for "The Monster Inside".
I just uploaded the whole text (which you can read HERE) as a .txt file and asked: "Can you make me a cover for this story. Show Abe and Jessica's silhouettes against a sea of light trough the open door, while Jack is crawling into the corner", as it happens in chapter 2.

NOTE: The cover image is made by AI and unused other than it was posted here, but the story is 100% me!

Yeah, I noticed. :p But it was already take 371. The first one came with the mention of a completely different author. :p I'm not going to use it for anything anyway, so... I honestly just made it to post it on my timeline to draw attention the post, but that isn't allowed, I guess. :p

I've seen worse, it's a super easy fix.
Nonetheless it was somewhat funny.

I was just looking at this one. You should tell your wife, not to look in the camera while firing a shotgun. She looks like the cameraman told her to look natural and she tries to figure out what that even means. Maybe this is not the time to look in the camera at all. But, then again, women and camera's, right? However, you... Why are you hiding behind your wife? You seem ready for action, but you seek shelter behind her instead on in front of her. :p


I know, I know, it is searching for flaws. AI is getting soooooo far in such a short period, but a human would have made you more heroic by putting you in front of her, or have you face the zombies behind you. And a human would remind your wife she's in a zombie apocalypse, with a shotgun in her hands.

I admit, this one is already a loooooot better than the zombie one I made (which I believe inspired you to make this one?) and it shows that you've put a lot more afford in your prompt. It's an awesome pic. Honesty I would think it would be weird if you would hang this on the wall.

In my games women are very powerful, maybe I expected the same from "reality" lol
Seriously I put this together real fast, wasn't trying to aim at any kind of AI perfection.
And yeah when you're photogenic you tend to naturally look for the camera :guffaw::wub I don't have to put up with such constraints :troll:


Depends honestly, maybe a human would have given her some kind of bikini armor and then make it all 10x more heroic, who knows?

It's worth nothing I don't really look like this (I'm better :D), Gemini when asked to make the picture in Van Gogh's style also tried to morph me into some half baked Van Gogh. That's alright though, I don't like showing my face :ninja:

I very much respect the attempt to create a space for AI culture and content. You can certainly do some interesting things with it to help get some ideas out there. here is some cool stuff ive made over the while

As an artist myself that wants shortcuts it's so easy to be tempted by the Ai devil Dx.

Not to get in a debate or anything, but its just a tool at the end of the day like anything else. Even it needs that human touch to truly shine.

As an artist myself, I love what AI can do, but I still blame the fact it's quickly becoming indetectable (already is in many cases).
I'm not against AI per se, I'm against the impossibility to know what's human and what's AI, and this seems like it's getting worse.

AI is a fantastic tool which can complete what you can't do yourself (very few artists are good at absolutely everything).

Anyway one of my players [GM]-Phantom somehow invented a new category, the AI fanart, and posted lovely AI images based on my characters (which aren't AI).

That is not my face, not exactly... That is based on a photo generated with AI which actually was based on my face, but the detail is lost, like a copy of a copy. Anyhow, happy holidays!
