  1. Death Coil Vevom should be Venom?
Crafting the accessories (Band of Eternal Night, Lifestone Amulet, Soulchain Pendant, Dawnforged Ward) requires Lvl 3 Weapon Molds rather than Accessory Molds. Everything else (weapons, body armor, head armor) requires Lvl 2 molds. Should these all be Lvl 2 or Lvl 3?

Am I supposed to be able to find Plati and her abductors? I spoke to the waitress and she's bringing Ryland upstairs to sleep it off, but I'm unable to find Albanus Wyrmwood.

This appears to require a hotfix :frown: . I will address the issue with the equipment (accessories) as soon as possible. The weapons, body parts, and head requiring level 2 molds are intended. Crafting higher-rarity equipment requires lower-rarity molds.

By the way, which objective are you stuck on in the story? I recently removed the "step" thing, so could you please show me a picture of that spot?

Edit: Ah, I remember that part now. You should go to the south of Shiroyuki Town to find her. She is outside somewhere around that area. Meeting Albanus Wyrmwood is still far beyond that step.

@Lady_JJ I have already uploaded the hotfix build (25111601). Please redownload it to fix the wrong crafting ingredients (Still haven't fixed the "vevom" thing yet). Truly sorry about this inconvenience.
  3. Please don't apologize for any 'inconvenience.' If it were perfect, I'd feel totally useless as a beta tester. :) Will search again for Plati and Albanus.

Edit-Found Plati. I think I had loaded a save prior to speaking with the waitress when I exited the hall to search for Plati because she was, of course, in plain sight. I've downloaded the newest build. Both of today's builds cause the game to crash when attempting to climb the stairs (both left and right staircases with Plati as a guest in the party) to find Ryland-

Uncaught Syntax Error: Unexpected token e in JSON at position 99618

The game also 'stutters' quite a bit. Normal walking around causes the party to occassionally falter, looking like a stumble, for a few frames, then kicks back in. I started a new game and this doesn't happen in the early scenes. Reloading a game prior to entering Shiroyuki Town doesn't show that stuttering either, but it is definitely evident in Shiroyuki Town, both in the town itself and in the interior locations. Edit 2- The stuttering begins in Shiroyuki Town and persists even after leaving that town. I tried to return to Chaotic Swamp to farm some weapons to get more Lvl 2 Weapon Molds and the stuttering is so bad, the game is almost unplayable. Tagging you so you'll see these edits. @JamesRyan

I'm going to play around with the crafting a bit more while waiting for you to advise me on what to do with the noted error.

I think I can guess what caused it. Perhaps it was because of a newly added plugin. I have uploaded another build with that plugin disabled (Build 25111602). Could you try it using the same steps with the old saves to see if it crashes? The download link should be in the same folder :frown:

Edit: Oh, wait, something is wrong with the second floor of the Trading Hall. Please do not download just yet :frown: I'm fixing it as fast as possible. Will tag you again when it is done

Edit 2: @Lady_JJ I have uploaded another hotfix build (25111603) to the download link. Please redownload it and try the same steps you did with the old save files to see if the crash remains. Sorry that I took the self-test too lightly :frown:

Please see if this build is stuttering too much (which makes it unplayable) or not? And may I ask if you are using a high refresh rate monitor (which is higher than the standard 60Hz)? Could you please help monitor the FPS during your play by pressing F2, and let me know if the FPS spikes (or low) or anything similar occurs?
  5. I talked to Ryland and headed back to Valenka, encountered earthquake, Morganna instructed Blanc to leave and bring Plati to Einhart, entered cave and Plati says 'S-She... destroyed it...' but she's not supposed to be there.

Stuttering continues. It's not too bad when walking around. The FPS window notes that it's running in WebGL mode. FPS ranges mostly 50-70 with an occassional drop to 40's and/or spike to 130's. I can't see a connection with the moment of stutter to either a drop or a spike. Inside normal battles, it's a different story. FPS is all over the place. Action is very slow. With this particular cyclops battle, there is a 30-45 second delay when trying to use an item. Select item from battle menu (delay of 30-45 seconds), scroll down one place (delay of 30-45 seconds), finally get to the desired item and press enter (delay of 30-45 seconds), animation stops midway but only for 5 seconds or so. Selecting an ability/magic isn't as excrutiating, but trying to select an aid is almost as bad as an item. I'm struggling to get through the cyclops battle. I'm going to see if that Sync FPS Monitor ON/OFF option makes a difference.

Don't know anything about a high refresh rate monitor. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron, not a high end gaming computer, but has not experienced any trouble with this game up until now. If you're not experiencing what I'm experiencing then it's likely it's on my end. I'll check to see if my drivers need updating.

May I have your save files? I need to open them in my editor to see what the cause is. :frown:
  7. Sure. The forum wouldn't allow me to attach a zipped file with all the folders ('too large to process') so I've just attached the Save5 file right outside the cave. If it works fine on your end, then I'll just have to assume it's something with my Dell.

Thanks a ton. I think I see the problem now. There is an issue with one of the new equipment. I'm gonna have a fix for it and see if things are gonna be better.

After this, I think I have to make changes to some other equipment with the same effects. They might be affecting performance :frown:
  9. I think you're right. I just stripped all my players of gear and I'm not experiencing any of those glitches. Of course, I can't fight all that well bare-handed and naked. :) I just started the battle with the cyclops with the players having their new weapons, otherwise naked, and it's looking great! There's no way I can survive without some armor, though. I'll add the armor one at a time trying to find the culprit(s), then reequip with older armor. I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW, I just got a new trophy thanks to you liking my above post. :kaothx:

I have uploaded the new build (25111701) to fix the unplayable stuttering issue. Please redownload it and follow the instructions below to remove the glitched equipment:
    - Unequip any equipped Heargear named "Spiritcaller Circlet" (I can see at least one is equipped for Lilith in your save file)
    - Open console (By pressing ~ button, which is above Tab)
    - Type "-refresh" (Without "")

After that, all remaining glitched "Spiritcaller Circlet" will be wiped out from your inventory. Please recraft it again. The new ones crafted from this new build will no longer be glitched.

Though I still cannot manage to fix the small stuttering when choosing an action or selecting skills. I need to spend much more time debugging.

Once again, thank you so much for your efforts on this.

I had narrowed it down to the headgear so I reequipped the prior headgear and managed to defeat the cyclops with minimal stuttering. I'll redownload now, though, follow your instructions and see what happens. Could I not just sell the glitched circlets?

I think you could try selling them for some gold. If it doesn't work, please try the instructions I mentioned. Craft it again in the new build, and you will see its effect changed to be based on INT instead.
  13. I tried following your instructions, but the circlet remained in the inventory, so I sold it and recrafted another. Then I reentered the cave, with the new circlet equipped, and refought the cyclops. It went much better. Gameplay slowed down a bit about midway through, but not to the point of mini-freezes and it was only slightly annoying. Regular battles were smooth and quick. I'm off to Valenka now. :)

Glad to hear that. I will try debugging the minor stuttering later when I have time. For now, I will focus on the continuation of the story first. If you encounter any other issues, please let me know. Thank you!
  15. Looking forward to more of the story. I'm hoping Albanus' friend is Kaoru.

    Another typo I noticed-
Turning Tides Scripture 'up to 10 intances' should be 'instances'

Thanks. I will get it fixed in the next build :stickytongue:
  17. Dev's update: I'm continuing with the story. Still on the interior map design process for the next step.

@Lady_JJ Since you already tried the new build, I would like to ask what your thoughts are about the new changes in the revamped skills, especially Juju Balance. How do you rate their effectiveness compared to their old versions?
  18. Dev's update: I'm a bit busy this time, so the progress is slow, and the next build will take a while. A little hint about what Kaoru can do for the party: As the Potion Master, he will provide some useful potions with unique effects to the party.
  19. Dev's update: I'm still working with the continuation of the story. The event in Shiroyuki Town has been done, and a little hint about the next is that it will also be a tragic one.
  20. Dev's update: The new build (25123101) is now available for download. As I have been quite busy, this build only provides a small continuation of the story, while introducing one new (not really new) boss and some new items. Please find it in the download link on the first post, or right HERE.

P/s: I will spend some time investigating the stuttering issue during battle. This might be happening because of too many effects, states, and damage pop-ups at the same time.
