  2. Hello,

I really like the works of  Cyanyurikago and I really want to use their work in the new IGMC and so for the commercial usage part, it says "small scale work" should I be able to use them or no? I don't know Japanese so I don't think I can contact them...what do you guys think?

    Thanks!
  3. This thread is amazing! Thank you so much for all of this! I just spent several hours stressing over whether or not I could use Janai's stuff in a commercial project... I thought maybe I was missing something, because the terms of use on that site are so short. I'll keep an eye on this thread, hopefully you'll hear from them soon; either way, at least you've given me a ton of other avenues to explore in the meantime!

Thanks again for all this hard work!

Thank you very much for your kind words. I've just checked, but sadly still no reply from Janai. :(

Small scale refers to the size of your team actually. Are you alone or do you have a very small team (for example 2-4 people)? That counts as doujin/small scale and allows commercial usage.

In other news: X-Hawk and The Gentleman On Moon now allow commercial usage! :D
  5. I hadn't realised that 'small scale' meant the size of the team.  This opens up more possibilities, so thank you very much for that clarification.  Very helpful.
  6. Me neighter. I would still ask the day I see the term somewhere just to be sure! (We never know)
  7. Slimmm, darling =]

How do Mack's terms apply to the generator?

    http://www.geocities.jp/kurororo4/looseleaf/

As I understand it is the same as the rest of Mack's materials. Not based on RTP and available for use in any engine.

But is that true? Please and thanks.
  8. Yes, same terms :)
  9. For M-ART

It says credit is required...but how do I credit them ? It's all in Japanese.
  10. By listing the site M-ART in your credits. ;) You can also use the author's name Napi, if you prefer that. There's no special rule as to how to credit them.
  11. Hey,

    For Fayforest/Ruruga

On the part on How to Credit them...you have some Japanese wording and I was just wondering do I credit using the Japanese wording you have there or do I credit using the website/author.

    Thanks!

RE: Nvm I used Google Translator and I'll just cite Fayforest/Ruruga in my credits section if that's correct :D
  12. ? I don't have any Japanese wording written there. (Unless you mean the spoilers? The spoilers are basically the terms they've posted on their site.)

    ---

Edit: I've added what type of resources you can find next to the site's name in the first post.
  13. That's under A Gust of Wind. ^^ (As you can see in the blog's sidebar I'm the last person who commented on the blog asking if commercial usage was allowed. Still no answer though.)
  14. I hope it's OK to ask this on this thread... if not, then hopefully a moderator will delete this post and no one will know! :)

I'm having trouble saving images from Kingdom Rise and Fall/Makapri.

More specifically, I can't figure out how to save images from this part of the site:

    http://ameblo.jp/makapri/image-11286885146-12050468211.html

Up until now I've just been saving images from this part of the site instead:

    http://ameblo.jp/makapri/theme3-10048518920.html

However, the male fairy faces on the blog are too small. The ones on the slideshow appear to be the right size
but I can't find a way to save them. If anyone can figure it out, I would be extremely grateful!
  15. Not really the thread, but I've had this problem too. Try and save the images from this site. That works ^^
  16. You are the best!! :D

Thank you, and thanks again for this amazing thread! (Especially the recently added notes about

which resource types are on each page; super helpful, probably saved me days of searching!)
  17. Is there outside other foreign asset sites?
  18. You mean if there are more Japanese resource sites than the ones listed here? Yes, of course there are.
  19. There are more foreign to Anglophones than just one nation.

I wondered, since I was French Quebecer, if I should start a tread like yours for non French readers! As in, if there is French spriters/asset makers that aren't typing their terms in plain English. Unless such topics already exist? I seem just to had picked yours so far!
