@alice_gristle I like these. You've managed to make the top one look wistful which, given the restrictions of the style, is quite something.
EDIT It's just occurred to me that perhaps that had not been your objective. Oops!

@Kes I wuz not aimin' for wistful especially, but I do want to give each character a set of faces, so I'm def going to explore what emotions I can wrest from these dinky handful of pixels! I'd say wistful is a great start!
-
Could it be?
Harold with the default MZ weapon. -
@Holder Nice weapon....Oh and nice sword too I suppose :p
-
@Holder Is that shield to cover his modesty?
-
-
@Holder I love his hair! Hairold :kaoluv: Exquisite work as always! Do the boots look a li'l bit papery tho, or is my eyes deceivin'? They kinda look like they cud use a bit of, umm, roundness and volume somehow? Dunno what you might be able to do wid 'em :kaoswt:

Hairold the Braid! -
Continuing portraits today. Pleased with my faces so far, usually I can't do them at all. -
and finished, but started on Harold: for those interested in structure-
At this stage I did a lot of scaling, rotating and flipping. -
@Holder armour looks nice! I cud nag about her midriff bein' exposed to stabby stabness, but nah, it's a nice-lookin' design! :kaoluv: Also Harold lookin' right heroic already
I been doin' my Alice's Frisky Fantasy Females graphic pack and I'm always kinda amazed at how much actual expressions you can fit into just a few pesky pixels. :kaoswt:
-
Drawin' clouds is sometimes too much fun for me. Background work for Alice's Frisky Fantasy Females! :kaoluv:

So, I'm makin' edits, and I keep thinkin' I want something in her hair. Tryin' out a garland, but... TELL ME, WITH OR WITHOUT GARLAND? :kaoswt: Also not exactly happy how the garland is lookin' but that's beside the point at the moment...
-
@alice_gristle I like the garland, it's a cute pop of color. Though I think flipping how it sits could help, I did a quick edit of how I'd probably do it. :)
-
@hiddenone whoops, you're totally right! :kaoslp: Thank you a bunch, Ima do that and keep the garland!

I did some pixel art and I need some feedback of this. (I'm a beginner so start to judge everything about since I tried my best
Also I added generations of what it would look like if generation 1 started off as 1 bit. Also please tell me which one you like best.
Just updated the screenshot.

I have moved your sprite feedback out of the Resource Request section into the Resource WIP thread.

Best advice I can give you at the moment is look at your thumbnail, it's zoomed out and gives you a more clear view of what you can and can't see.I did some pixel art and I need some feedback of this. (I'm a beginner so start to judge everything about since I tried my best

To me, on the way that you've done them all number 4 has clear arms and legs, since there's a lot of contrast to them-making those parts easily seen as separate details.
You'll see that the harsh red and white sections are also clearly marked.
What you can do to help this is darken the body, that's pushed back and would not receive any light, this will in turn make the arms and legs stand out even more.
Contrast is a great thing to learn in pixel art, helps show shapes and makes defining areas a lot easier. -

Yeah I know it isn't the best I'm still learning since this is my first pixel art that I ever made.Best advice I can give you at the moment is look at your thumbnail, it's zoomed out and gives you a more clear view of what you can and can't see.
