Hey everyone. With the release of MV I've taken on the idea of doing MV battlers. These will be different from my other ones. Differences are below: - These battlers are all side view. - These battlers will take on a more universally cartoony look. Sorry to those who liked my gorier stuff, but this time I aim to have a more consistent style. These are free for non-commercial or commercial use with RPG Maker MV, VX Ace, VX, or any RPG Maker. Please notify me via PM on how to credit me for their use, but be sure to actually have a GAME NEAR COMPLETION before asking! If you do not show me some evidence of a game well along in production I will ignore your message, because I can only assume you have just started on your game. Shadows dont work so well with the animated sideview battler plugin that makes enemies breathe

Although I'm not the biggest fan of the "cutesy" style battlers, I can say without a doubt that you are the most talented enemy battler artist in all RPG Maker Communities, your work is top notch and you could seriously be a professional if you are not already. The detail, color, and style is superb. Great work Thalzon, keep it up!

I've decided I'm going to post whatever I have done every Friday, rather than wait until I have a single massive batch. Sometimes it'll be a bunch, sometimes one, sometimes none, but I'll make the effort to have something for you guys every week.

This update might be called "When Trees Attack." Special thanks to onion for the design of tree_03.

Also, I have a rar file in the first post with all the battlers so far without shadows. For those of you who prefer a little mystery in where your enemies' feet are planted.

Here's a suggestion from someone who doesn't like the side-view battle system: Maybe you could try to stick more to that diagonal view and avoid full sideview? The trees are great examples. The boar, on the other hand, can ONLY be used in a sideview battle system, which makes it unusable for some people who prefer the frontview.
