We've had what we think is a really cool idea. Just need to turn it into a game now. :D

I don't think it's possible for me to come with an idea with decent gameplay for 20 minutes or less. XD

I'm assuming this applies to plugins. You'd have to look at the terms.

The only types of games I think of that can take like 20 minutes are visual novels or like... shooters. XD

Yea, I'm just going with VN with some puzzles/minigames because I'm boring.

Just to give you all a cryptic idea of where we're going with our entry without being too specific as to its content...

The title of our game is The Worst Noël.

Every single character name is a festive pun.

OMG. A Christmas story where everything goes wrong.

I guess i'll go with a classic issue that happens on christmas. Juuuust with a lot of battles in between.

I could technically do a "side quest" that pertains to my eventual main game.

Question about this, would it be enough to have battles but no puzzles? I am terrible at puzzles :(

I have several questions about this. How many blonde women do I need to include? Is more always better? Do elves and goblins count? Am I gonna get penalised if I make them the antagonists?

You just called me boring. Many of my games are like that, because I dislike making battles. Now I'm offended.

That's mostly just a recurring forum trend/joke I started with a few other users here, as you can see the judges personal rules are a bit nonsensical and some of them sound like straight up trolling.
Just make the game you want to make, it has to be short though and with a Xmas theme.

But hey, if you want to add blonde characters into it, I'm not gonna stop you, but you'll mostly just please me if you do that.
Anything is fine, even a blonde blob and a blonde cow, or maybe just a sentient blonde wig?
If you make everyone blonde, I might have a special place ready for you.

As for my hat, according to Italy, we start using Xmas decorations from the 8th December, so I will add it on that day.
