So... Today the winners are announced, right? Where is the ceremony? Will we all be judged in front of a live audience? Is there a dress code? Who has the assigned seat next to mine?

We are going to get a ceremony, right? Or is it just: "And the winners are A, B and C, have a good night"? I didn't buy this gala dress for nothing, okay.

lol well I don’t know about the gala dress, but yes the winners will be announced today. @Ms Littlefish is just wanting to draw the tension out before posting.

I have to clean up cat puke before I start typing it. You know. Riveting stuff.

do you have a time for the announcement? maybe the place of all entries
from best to worse? (I know my was the most frustrating one there is though) :p

Actually, what I really wanted to ask, but turned it so much into a joke that no-one noticed... Would the judges also let us know their findings? Will they tell us what was good and/or bad about the entrees? I'd care about the judgements way more than about the $100 obviously I won. :p

(I mean, the other entrees were good, but I named all judges and everyone else personally to ensure my win.) :p

I always suspected this community was some kind of cult... I never thought it would be such a cool one. Are we going to sacrifice stuff?

I think all of the judges intend to leave their specific feedback in their particular ways. That may take us a little more time to format, but I think we all intend to whether than be in the results thread, on itch.io pages, or game any game threads that pop up for these entries.

And if anyone wants feedback from me, just let me know. I wasn’t gonna rush to share my thoughts unless people really want to hear since I’ve got some baking to do this week.

I can post my feedback here under a spoiler tag after the winners are announced, except for @Trihan of course, I'm purposely ignoring him because it's so much fun teasing him.

I don't sugarcoat, I mostly give constructive criticism without being a prick. I state what works and what doesn't work in a game.

I have an important note for the judges though...

I know the forum rules say no religious stuff, but today we judge the games of which most are made in celebration of Jesus Christ. Even mine, while I'm an atheist, mentions the birth of Jesus Christ. (I mean, with all the name dropping I did, I better include the man who this is all about, right?)

But, dear judges, this little baby Jesus grew up to with a message, which is: "Do not judge."
Okay, he had a bigger message than that, but this one is relevant for you, judges, who will judge the games we made for the man that doesn't want you to judge.

So... I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, having to judge on Christmas eve. :p

We mostly want to prevent proselytizing or arguing religious morality on these forums. There's nothing wrong with mentioning you are a member of a religion or mentioning stories from religious texts as long as y'all don't get OTT about it.

Don't make me rap battle you into submission. :p

I think you missunderstood my reply, though. :p I wasn't debating the forum rules. I was saying I technically broke the rule by talking about Jesus' request to not judge.
