I forgot to mention to those that are playing the Game Jam entries and maybe giving feedback or even streaming them.

Remember that for some people, this is their first game. There first foray into the scary, terrible world.

Life-Arctic gains a v.1.1 update with a new mode: Hawk Mode.

Due to recent feedback noting that the difficulty is far too unforgiving and those with hand issues are having trouble playing through the gauntlet, this difficulty is added to ease you in to the experience. The first 2 stages will be much easier while the last 2 will not be as tedious, but still require a bit of usage of your clicking skills to purify them all.

I cannot rectify the lack of first criterion's theme of joyous spirit of xmas due to not only time constraints, but also something that would be antithetical to the story I intend to convey without words. Regardless of its flaws and the lack of bribery cameo for the judges, it is something I made with passion. And I thank those who took the time out of their day to play it and experience what I have to offer.

The Worst Noel updated: line of transparent pixels on the school clock is fixed, the day cycle now tints the screen while outdoors, and trying to teach Chris's dog tricks is a repeatable nice point source.

I have a lot of fun while making this project.
Especially the final day, When our team realize that our planing is messed up. :hswt:
While the clock is ticking and we keep getting closer to the deadline.
Not sure that the idea is too ambitious, or we just not doing good as managing time.

btw we learned many lessons from this. and hope we can do better managing in future project.
And for this project, I will upload it first and keep polishing and update while the submission is still open. :hwink:

I was speedrunning everything, everything.
The MC's take their hats when talking and put them again when fighting. Talk about indecisive.
(Fortunately i don't have a deadline in my main project, else i would have thrown my pc out of the window)

@ZombieKidzRule are the images you used free-to-use? Or are they copyrighted?
If they are copyrighted images and you don't have the commercial rights to them, then we can't permit them in the contest unfortunately because of the prize money.

I can't run your game. Windows gives me a weird ass error message about not being able to load "name" of form or something.
I've been having some issues with my PC as of late (crashes whenever I try to run anything 3D), but I would look into it.

So. In regards to Heroes of Christmas made by @Starmage, myself and her have a lengthy discussion. And we wish to make up for our lack of community cameos by having the jam entries' characters be bosses in the upcoming commercial version post jam for her to post. We would like to ask if it is alright to use any of your characters (that aren't base RTP generators or Harold likes).

In turn, we would draw character bust art for them. And if you so request, we will give out the game's steam key without you needing to pay for the game.

Please tell us if you wish to have your characters featured in Starmage's revamped game. We can compromise if you wish to be credited in-game as the featured character you created for this Christmas Jam.

You can use my character. He's not named in game but unofficially he's Fajro the Dragon. (Well I guess if I say it, it's official, isn't it)

I'm not sure Chris would fit stylistically, but if you can find a way for him to do so then be my guest!

I guess if you want to use my characters?? They're all original! I'll offer but you certainly don't have to lol

Welp, I guess it's time for us to judge.
Congrats to everyone for finishing and submitting an entry!

Don't be upset if you don't win or make it in the top 3, finishing something (anything, whether good or bad) is already a big accomplishment, remember that most people can't even do that.

I finished a few minigames in the past and regardless of the feedback, it felt good to put something out there, one almost won a game jam (did 2nd place) and was well received overall, another totally lost it and was mostly ignored, but both experiences taught me different and important lessons.

What matters during these events is to have fun, and possibly learn from your mistakes.
