    why not?

Time out. Not sure why it timed out.

    Works now though, so nvm.
  2. I think since 1.3.4 this is not working anymore :3
  3. Hello, I've downloaded the plugin, when I add the plugin to the plugin folder it doesn't show up in RPG maker? Whats up with that?

    NVM haha - fixed it
  4. Help!!! It isn't working for me! I saved the map as pressed print screen, and the file would pop up, but no image. =[ Please, do the tutorial video to show how to do. I would understand your follows. =[
  5. Does this not work with parallax maps? Because every time i use it in game the map shot only shows the characters everything else is black.
  6. Nope, only regular MV maps are saved to the PNG.
  7. Thank you for the quick reply hudell! Any idea how hard it would be to make a script or option that shoots the shown images for us parallaxers?
  8. Probably not too hard. Do you use a plugin to show the parallax map or just the regular map parallax image that you can configure on the editor?
  9. Hello,

first of all thank you for the plugin. It works well, but unfortunately it does not show any water.

I'll show you a mapshoot, so you can see, what I mean.

    PS

Sorry for my bad englisch, but my first language ist german.

  10. Oh, I had a report about this bug before, I'll try to fix it right now.
  11. Just wanted to say: "Thank you for this lovely plugin! <3"
  12. Hello guys,

I might be incredibly silly on this one, but I can't find the folder nwjs anywhere on mac.  Does anyone know where to find it?  Sorry for being such a noob!
  13. Hello, I have been trying to use your plugin but have been having problems with getting it to work correctly.

When I press the button to make the screenshot I am told that it has been made while play testing, but when I goto the directory it is saved in there is no file there. I have tried changing the save directories and even using a different computer but I am unable to see anything in the output folder for the mapshots, it is just empty. I have been able to successfully deploy the project but it just seems the plugin is not able to create the file.

I have checked that I have full permissions on all the folders that I tried to output to, on both computers and I have also disabled antivirus software and firewall when I attempt to make a mapshot but no success.

Do you have any idea what may be causing this?

  14. It doesnt work. In the playtest, it says that it is saved to a folder named Mapshots but when I go there, the folder isnt there.

  15. Does anyone know how to view this on a MAC (el capitan)? There's no way I can open RpgmakerMV.app as a folder. I tried changing the script but it sends it to the same place initially followed by the folders I changed it to.

EDIT: I figured it out. I need to right click RPGMakerMV and select "view contents" and it opens up a new chain. I'm very new to Mac!

1st I just wanted to say thank you for this plugin. I'm new to this. MV, parallax mapping, photoshop, all of it. So when i found your plugin, i was relieved to say the least as it makes mapping so much easier. That being said, I'm also having the "water doesn't show up" problem. To get around it, I'm using windows' snipping tool, cutting out the water portions, then dragging them into photoshop which has my screenshot pulled up and assigning it its own layer so I can work around it then deleting the layer before exporting. Not too big of a deal on smaller maps but pretty tedious on larger ones. Just wondering if you were still working on a fix or if there is another, better way that I've yet to find. Again, thanks for the plugin.

Hey, Hudell, thank you for the scrip.

Have you fixed this bug? I'm using the 1.4.0 MV in Windows 10 and the water tiles are transparent in the images.

  18. For those having the issue where the MapShots folder opens but no image is saved, I found that changing the name of the map helped. I had to remove a / from my map name.

For those with the water tile issue, I recommend instead of water, using a transparent tile with the cliff edge. Save the static image, and when you parallax, just run the water animation under the image.
  19. ...I don't think you understand how much you just saved my life!! I'm using the Yanfly Doodads plugin and I wanted all of the buildings in my village to be very unique. Your plugin made it so I can place the roof and buildings in my map and have a map tileset for each building! I had to make the roof a separate piece so my character can walk behind it.

Again, THANK YOU for making a great plugin!
  20. Hey, thanks for all your work on this plugin!

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same problem as me. The screenshots saves in the proper folder, but instead of giving me an image of the whole map, it only takes a picture of the visible portion of the screen.

Perhaps a recent update has caused this issue?
