I'm sure I'll be seen as the misunderstood villain, playing violin while defeating the opposition with Pirates of the Caribbean music.

Like Castlevania's version of Dracula then. :D He's a misunderstood guy with a refined taste.

Main differences between J and P types are:

J prefer structure and plans, P prefer to improvise and do things on a whim.
J like to finalize decisions early, while P prefer to keep options open till the last moment.
J prefer to stick to one task at a time in a linear fashion and to start a new one only after the first is finished, while P prefer to tackle multiple tasks at once, going back and forth between them at will.

Everyone has both J and P functions, but some are more prevailing. J functions are decision-making ones, so that's T and F, whereas P functions are information gathering and processing ones, so N and S. We use all of them - we use T, F, N, and S. But one from each category prevails, and that's the one that shows up in our 4-letter name of the personality. So an INTJ, for example, mainly uses N and T, and to a lesser degree F and S. They're not missing, rather just not preferred.

In fact, each of the functions (T, F, S, and N) has 2 versions, an introverted and an extroverted one, and thus we get 8 cognitive functions. :)
  2. It was interesting. I'm an intp. Of course, I took the test on the Iranian site(mbti تست). Do you know another site?
  3. I remember someone on personality cafe making a good case for Toby Fox being INTP. I can try finding the thread if anyone is interested.

Not a game creator, but a creator nonetheless: Kubo Tite is probably an ESFP.

By the way, based on functions, I am ISFP myself.
  4. I can't believe this conversation goes back as recently as March 2022. I may as well add one more comment. MBTI is interesting and all, but it's talked about quite a lot everywhere, even when you're not expecting it to show up. I'm not trying to put this thread down by the way, just saying there are other things out there. This topic has opened up a lot of possibilities now, like different personality tests and horoscopes.

Personally I think humans are too complicated to label a single thing, but I guess since people think it's fun we do it anyway. I am an INFJ-T. Thankfully we're not so rare after all. ENTJ is the new rarest one apparently. They are the action takers of the world and you will find quite a lot of the time they are at high positions of power (so like a boss, manager or director).
  5. I'm an infp I'm a mediator type!
