  1. Here you go. Just getting started.

    TERMS OF USE:

Basically, you my use them (commercially), edit them, with credit to Mack/REFMAP; please include the crediting info from the link.

No need to credit GrandmaDeb. I will settle for your undying love. <3

The first is a resize method, the other is an edit to fit. Biggest difference in the resize is the nice appearance of the barn sides and the strange appearance of the flat roof.

  2. I'm actually starting to like the VX/Ace resized resources. It looks so beautifully painted. I'm not sure if I want to use the MV RTP or rather the VX Ace one upscaled. The latter does also have the upside that there are many resources available already. :)
  3. I personally much prefer the top image - it is clearer and nicer proportions.  It take it that it is that one which is the resized one?
  4. Heh, maybe you should be our Resized-VX-Ace-Resources Queen then, Deb. :) Just like Avery is for icons and Thalzon for battlers.

EDIT: The latter's obviously the KING of battlers, though. Just to clarify.
  5. Woah those look nice!
I might use these in MV instead of the MV RTP...

Ah well, we'll see how it goes.
  6. *does happy dance*

I think it is very likely that in-game the proportions will just be so much better on the re-size. But we will not know for a bit yet, eh???

As I said, I am really pleased with the resize quality.

The hay looks fantastic, I think.

The Flat roof middle area could use to be redone entirely.

The edges of a few tiles are muddy. (lower border top edge of the one I circled.)

Maybe the curtain could use a little contrast.

And the roof tiles seem to have changed styles, as it were, in the scale. The orange and blue clay tiles seem much more painted, as Liak mentioned.

And overall I think it turned out very well.

  8. I prefer the second one.

The real question, in my opinion, is; how well do both styles mix the MV RTP?

Inconsistency is pretty bad, but maybe just doing a resize won't be noticeable.
  9. The second one would fit it pretty well. The first one looks much more painted than the VX Ace RTP, so it would clash.
  10. I like the first one. You didn't actually state which is which - do we assume the first one is the edit to fit and the second one is the resized one, just because that's the order you mentioned the terms?

Whatever the first one is, could you please say what program you used, and go over the steps? I'd like to do that with my DAU resources. Maybe in another thread if you're worried it will derail this one (which it will :D )

Actually, looking more closely at them, I suspect the top one is the resize and the bottom is the edit to fit. Is the "strange appearance of the flat roof" referring to the one on the bottom left, that it has more of a marbled look now than a speckled look? I quite like it, but would have to see how it turns out on a complete roof.

Are there any seamless tiling issues with the resized ones?
  11. If you click on the pictures, you can read their names in the popup.

The first is the resized, the second the edited.

    We'll know in a few more days when I can play-test. =]

No one has absolute definitions of the tiling.
  13. same question as in the other thread

what are you terms of use

btw thanks for doing the resize work ^^
  14. These are Mack tiles. They will have the same terms of use as Mack tiles.
  15. I've got most of the premium DLC for Ace and I'd like to see those converted, but it seems that distributing any converted premium resources would run afoul of the license agreement if there's no way to limit downloads to people who purchased the originals. Do you think there might be a tool for this so we convert our own? I know nobody knows for sure, but I guess what I'm asking for is an educated guess from someone who has been around the community for a while.
  16. Yes, distributing edits of store resources, which is what this would be, is not allowed.
  17. Thought so. Know of any tools or utilities that do run bulk processes on images to convert many at a time?
  18. Apologies, just hoping to help accelerate conversion efforts. :)

Thanks. I am turning into a slacker in my old age.

I will add this to the OP
