Ended up playing the game today, was good fun. I pm'ed you on twitter if all's correct, I had some questions :)

Hey there, glad to hear you enjoyed it! I'm not particularly active on Twitter these days, but you're welcome to send me a DM here on the forums? Otherwise, I'll be sure to have a look when I get a chance :)Ended up playing the game today, was good fun. I pm'ed you on twitter if all's correct, I had some questions :)

Played the demo, here are a couple of thoughts:
Spoiler-Nice visual style obviously
-Points for the interactive turn based system
-I like how fast the battles load and everything, but maybe the basic attack animation takes a bit too long for my liking
-Is there a way to speed up the guarding state health/mana recovery pop-ups? I tried playing in a way where I was quickly changing commands and constantly guarding against the enemy attacks and it kind of breaks the otherwise nice battle flow when it takes times for those pop-ups to play in succession (if you're poisoned, it takes even longer)
-I personally think box pushing where you don't even have to think at all, but just push the boxes is kind of annoying :D
-The battles (even the boss battle) were way too easy (and I don't like too hard battles :D ). If you just used the guard (and maybe even without it) you were basically immortal.
Some graphical glitches:
And then, I got stuck on this tile:
Also at the bridge before the room where the floor collapsed, you could walk onto the pillars (at least diagonally) and there was one sport on the left side where you could walk on air outside the bridge. -
Hey, thanks so much for the detailed feedback + screenshots! Glad you enjoyed the game.Played the demo, here are a couple of thoughts:
I'll definitely be taking some of these points to heart, and a few of your quarrels (animation speed while defending, battle difficulty) are already on the list to be fixed and improved in the full game :)
And I am so sorry you hit a softlock at that jump-down spot! It's given me a lot of grief, and I was sure I had it fixed! Shoot! Will be getting that addressed ASAP.
Thanks again! -
