Craig can only bring Brianna back with 9999 HP, so if Alicia has Auto-Haste, you should be able to knock her out again and keep on whittling down Craig's HP.

Hmmm. I haven't gotten Auto-Haste yet. Whereabouts would it be?

There's several places you can get it. One option is to drop-farm Turbo Boosts (Boringgus, encountered in the area you're currently in, drops them 20% of the time), which you can swap ten of for an Auto-Haste from a guy in Sysona.

Once you've defeated these guys, you can also acquire 10 Turbo Boost as a one-off by superscanning (if you don't know what this is, pop into the hut between Saria and Taspia again) every monster in the Trinity Palace. However, you can't do that until after this fight, as there are a few monsters that only appear in the later rooms.

I am asking for a small hint with this crystal puzzle. I read all the signs with the numbers: 1-6,3-1,4-9,2-3 and 5-2 and the sign with something to do with sound and password. Do I need to touch the crystals in the right order from right to left to activate the teleporter? Thanks

The first digit indicates which crystal (I don't recall if it's from the left or from the right, but knowing me it's more likely to be from the left). The second digit is how many times you have to touch the crystal.

The "First Weapon" enemy is brutal. Nice one.

Me? LOL. Amanda, Alicia, Leanne and Harley are all at 99. I went to the monster arena a few times and pumped them up as they are my main characters. VInce is 38 (need to work on him), Tara 73 and Ivy 72. I'm now at the part where they group broke up.

Anyway yeah, Lv99 (or close to it) is intended for this point.

Yeah, I brought him up a few more levels and will work on more. I've gotten to the confrontation with Yauwe. How do I stop somebody who can heal himself faster than I can hurt him?

Not at my PC at the moment, so can't check vulnerabilities, but Virus or Zombie if he's vulnerable (although IIRC he's immune to all statuses).

Otherwise, use things like Haste and buffs to increase your Damage output.

Yeah, he's immune to Virus and Zombie.

If you have Ultra Damage, give this to Alicia and you can easily outpace his healing, especially with Double Hit as well.

I finally got it done. I actually did her first and that took a really long time. I kind of hated it that it just went right in to the battle with him, but I understand why it was like that. That battle went much quicker. Now to go on ...

Just for the record - it's impossible to end up with a save file that's past the point of no return (you can't save once you're past it), so feel free to save your game at any point, you don't have to worry about not being able to go back.

On a side note, IIRC you can also do those two in either order, but it makes little difference apart from preference. (It could maybe be useful if you're doing a low level game or other challenge run, and have a high-risk but quick strategy for one and a surefire but slow strategy for the other, maybe.)

So, since I don't seem to able to scan the Corelock, are its characteristics more or less the same as the Protolock? I really hate it when I can't scan. Just so you know.

Similar, but not the same. Corelock is immune to a few statuses that Protolock isn't, most notably Weaken and Meltdown.

The core has 200k HP, the arms have 125k each, and the pods have 75k each. All parts are weak to Lightning and take normal damage from all other elements.

All parts are immune to Instant Death, Poison, Darkness, Silence, Sleep, Zombie, Weaken, Meltdown and Psycho. The arms are also immune to Virus and have 30% resistance to Slow, while the pods are also immune to Slow (but not Virus; not that Virus really matters here). In terms of debuffs, the pods are completely vulnerable to all, the arms have 50% resistance to strength debuffs and are immune to all others, the core is immune to all debuffs.

Well, that was interesting. I beat Corelock but got routed by Lunaris. The ribbons really helped with Corelock but I only had four. Is there any place to buy them? Or who drops them? I sure could use some more. I think.

Nuisancer has a 1/3 chance of dropping a Ribbon. Obliviator has a 1/2 chance of dropping a Vaccine.

The two items both give the Immunize status. The difference is that whereas Vaccine just gives you it once (and unlike some statuses, Immunize wears off after several turns), Ribbon essentially gives you Auto-Vaccine until the end of the battle or the character dies.

You can also get the Immunize status via the blue magic Immunify. One place you can obtain the item for this is stealing from Aquion (in the water caves).

I can't believe I am still stuck trying to defeat the "First Weapon". It has 200,000 health. I tried poisontouch,,sleeptouch, darkstrike, infection, etc. I noticed when my party has zombie status First Weapon does not kill or misses sometimes with its attacks. Any small hint or strategy would be greatly appreciated.
