  1. OMg.. he looks so sad in the sitting Downed pose. :( Poor kitty.. here kitty kitty, I have a treat for you! :)

  2. He's so cute! Such a devilishly darling :wub
  3. :kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:

I don't have any clever quips for today, so let's get right to it!

    Day 8: Bag Bases!
Our female merchant was rocking a lovely satchel, and now your characters can also carry their favorite snacks and items into the field! Dress them up with your favorite clothes and hair, and send your characters out on an adventure (or to school, gotta get that education)!

Tomorrow will be another addition to our NPC collection, so vote on your favorite DnD stat! Which stat should come next: Constitution or Wisdom?
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  4. I don't know how you managed to capture the petite devils personality, but you did. How is this trickster chill-laxing while flying? Quite the skilled little flyer!

Edit: Oops! I didn't realize you had updated for Day 8! Let me correct that by adding that one can never go wrong with bases! I love bases and this bag is such a cute addition.
  5. It was the availability of bases which got me started on producing (slightly) more competent sprites. Thank you for an addition which has so many potential uses.
  6. I love the base sprites but I have no longer an excuse not to pixel my paladin with his amazing sword...

His fashion sense may be lacking, but the male merchant knows exactly what to carry to help out any adventurers in need! Just don't laugh at his mullet or you'll find his prices skyrocketing.

Then I've got in big troubles now for I still wanna laugh at the merchant's mullet. :LZSlol:
I wish there were a way to use them in MV or any other maker without owning MZ. :(
    Not complaning here, just saying.
  8. :kaosalute: HECK YES! Satchels!
Going to keep and collect all the things to never find anything at the same time.
  9. :kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:

Wisdom won the vote, so let's meet our newest npc!

    Day 9: The Female Elderly!
Every game needs some older characters to share knowledge or care for young heroes before their journeys begin, so here is an old woman ready to whack some sense into people with her cane! Wearing her favorite shawl and able to spot anyone trying to sneak a snack before dinner with her thick glasses, this sprite is ready to join your hero's family!
    $elderly_female1.png

Her alternate sprite isn't quite as ready for excitement as the first: she's still curling her hair! Let your hero's granny stay looking her best by taking care of her hair with numerous hair curlers.
    $elderly_female2.png

Does your game need a grandmother, or would she be a grumpy old lady who blocks your heroes' path?
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  10. Grandma with hair curlers is awesome!
  11. Oh my gosh! I wish I could leave a like and a laugh emoji at the same time. I was not expecting the curling hair products and it just makes this so much better. Simply amazing and hilarious all at once! She just needs one of those head scarfs and it could be my old dearly deceased grandma. Wonderful work, Hiddenone, now we just need a behavior of her whacking with her cane or waving it around. ;D
  12. The curly hair is awesome and I also love the foggy glasses
  13. Every village needs a grumpy old lady within its walls.

Why not both? Depending on the circumstances the same NPC could fulfill both roles.
Great work. We need more older NPCs that don't just walk with an arm wrenched behind their backs.
  15. I love you Granny :wub
  16. A kickass grandma. Nice!
  17. The curlers.. are you frikin kidding me?? HAHA!! Love it!! <3

  18. Truly, one day I aspire to be that old lady that effortlessly leaves the house with her curlers in (even tho I’ve never used curlers). There’s no reason you can’t get a gallon of milk while also working on the peak set.
  19. I'm so happy y'all love granny, her hair curlers were a recommendation from our little advent squad and I laughed so hard at the idea that it had to be real!
:kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:
I'm sure you can guess who today's sprite will be, so let's get right to him!

    Day 10: The Male Elderly!
He's old, he's slow, and he's hard of hearing! But don't count gramps out, he's sure to be able to offer important advice or maybe even a treasured family artifact that could be the key to defeating a demon lord! ...As long as you listen to his full story about all the adventures he went on as a youth.
    $elderly_male1.png

His alternate sprite has way more hair than his first version, in fact he'd say he still has his full head of hair! Enjoy seeing this old man puttering around the village with his perfect combover, and remember to not stare too much!

We know Constitution will be coming up in a few days, but I'm curious: what type of npcs would you expect Dexterity and Intelligence to be? Would they be the local thief or barkeep, or maybe a librarian? Tell me your thoughts! :)
    Happy game making! :ptea:
  20. Dexterity and Intelligence I'm going with a tailor and a banker.
