The work you put in on these crows is amazing, Hiddenone. I especially appreciate the variety of Down poses. Very thoughtful.

I love the crows and I can only agree with Guardinthena, the TVD sprite is such a nice addon as well! Really looking forward the next days as well!
Keep up the good work! -
Crows are, no joke, one of my favorite animals. They are insanely intelligent and remember people. I think that makes their association with spooky things all the more intriguing. Be kind to crows!
-
The crow sprite is so amazing. I appreciate the black recolour. We needed more birds for MZ anyway :)
-
The crows look awesome! Now I need an excuse to use them. But that's not so hard for me! I always find a little spot for things.
-
Awww, those poor downed crows! D: I love crows and I've always thought there's a bit of a lack of them for RPG Maker, thank you so much for these!! They'd be in my party for sure XD
-
:kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:
I'm happy y'all like the crow, it was one I ended up doing recently because I wasn't sure what else to make to fill in my empty days. If you've been wanting more monsters with downed poses, then keep an eye out!
But for today, we return to humans... Though not full NPCs.
Day 4: Sword Bases!
Our female adventurer had her trusty sword by her side, and now your heroes can too! Both female and male bases are resting a hand on their sword, so with a little bit of editing on your part you can have your swords-carrying party members show that they're ready for action. Or give the town guards some weapons so they can do more than just shout when your party starts running around town rummaging in peoples' homes!
I'll make a separate status to get some more votes, but might as well ask here too. We've seen Strength with our adventurers, so which DnD stat would you like to see in the next NPC: Charisma, Constitution, or Wisdom?
Happy game making! :ptea: -
I do wish I had the skills to utilize these, but they're still hella awesome.
-
Bases to build off of are such a wonderful and thoughtful gift! Thank you, Hiddenone! These will come in handy for so many.
-
Wow, visible swords on the sprites are super useful.
Charisma would be great as a skill -
+1 for Charisma.
Between you and Avery, we could start making an animals game...Sir Oinkers teams up with the vicious mercenary Violence Without Caws. -
Love these assets so far! I feel spoilt with every ones gifts oh my! the adds just the icing on the cake to sprites though thank you!!
-
+1 Charisma!
I think people will really love this character base. It’s a detail that would be a reality in a lot of RPGs…people would be armed!!! -
enemy chars are a rare and awesome resource... thank you so much for making these for the community!

:kaojoy: It's Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:
The votes are in, and the npc stat Charisma won in a landslide! Funnily enough, we're still sticking to my rough outline for the calendar so it seems like I was able to guess what y'all would like pretty well. :guffaw:
Day 5: The Female Merchant!
Hair? Perfect. Makeup? Flawless. Clothes? Spotless. Items and equipment? Ready to sell to any adventurers who pass her by! This merchant is dressed for success and is sure to get the best deal, so do your best to stay on her good side!
Her alternate sprite is carrying a satchel, so she's ready to pull out some wares at any time! Or maybe it's where she keeps any gold she wins from bets made with unlucky pub patrons.
Her and the female adventurer are my favorite npcs out of the the lot of them. Where would she show up in your games?
Happy game making! :ptea: -
What a treasure trove everywhere here and these resources being posted! I got so excited because the female merchant has curly hair! And there's more!? I have ringlets so I felt a kinship. :kaoblush:
There's something amazing going through these threads and seeing stuff like the sword base. Little details like that add to the characters, without needing to explain the background. Thanks for creating and sharing. -
She looks gorgeous, especially her hair! So much detail in so few pixels.
-
This is off topic but I played your Forest star game! @SeaPhoenix I loved it.

A lovely addition. Do you remember the original Itinerent Trader? The one with the blue hat. In one of my games I had a running thing about his sons being traders but unlike him they never went to dungeons or wilderness, only towns. Just before the final dungeon the Itinerent Trader himself comes out of retirement to help the party as they are true adventurers. With these 2 female traders I might do something similar, but with sisters. Possibilities open up before me.
Thank you. -
Ooh, might be my favorite resource so far! Absolutely beautiful!
