    :kaojoy: It's that time of year! Advent calendar time! :kaojoy:​

    It's not quite the first where I am, but it's December 1st somewhere and I'm too excited to get this started so I'm posting now! This year will be filled with sprites to help you fill your towns and dungeons, so if you've been wanting some new NPCs keep your eyes peeled.

    Day 1: The Female Adventurer!
    Have you been needing an experienced teacher to help your new hero learn some new skills or how to survive in a monster-infested dungeon? Then look no further than this adventurer! She's calm, collected, and ready to kick some sense into any foolish wannabe heroes!

    She also has an alternate version where she has her blade by her side and ready to draw. Choose the right sprite for the scene!

    I have most of the days ready, but there are a few open ones near the end... Which means if you have any sprites you'd love to see, make a suggestion here and they may appear (no promises though)!
    There are a bunch of us doing calendars this year, so make sure you check out their threads as well for more goodies! Happy game making! :ptea:

    She is not only such a badass, but she probably has one of the prettiest faces in the MZ realm. Pretty sure she just picked the sword up to keep all those admirers at a distance ;D

    Glad to hear y'all loved the female adventurer, I was really happy with how she turned out. :) Of course, I'm not leaving the guys alone either...

    Day 2: The Male Adventurer!
    This scruffy guy has been in more than a few fights and almost always comes out on top! With helpful items tucked into his belt pouches and his trusty dagger strapped to his back, he's ready to rescue any wayward villagers or new heroes who tackled a difficult monster much too early in their adventure.

    His alternate sprite is sporting a nice half-cape, perfect for keeping one side of his body warm and hiding the dagger he may have just pulled from the back of his belt!

    What do you think, would these two get along or would they be bickering the entire time they explored a dungeon together?

    I love the cape. Everyone should wear capes. Not only in our games, but in real life too. Makes you look a 1000% cooler.

    But capes are so cool! Though it is likely that the fights the male adventurer lost were due to him catching his cape on something. :headshake:

    I asked in a status whether you'd like to see a land, sea, or air based sprite, and air won! Well, "give us them all" won, but we're going with the close second. :p

    Day 3: Crows!
    There is a major lack of birds in MZ's default character sheets, so let's fix that with a colorful crow that's ready to swoop down and peck your unlucky heroes to death! You also get the downed behaviors for it, just in case you want your players to feel bad after they beat up a feathered friend.

    The crow's alternate sprite is a recolor to fit a more normal crow color, so if you want a plain bird flying around your map you can add it.

    And just to be extra, here's the crow battler recolored to better match the alternate sprite!

    I'll ask in the status feed about other advent days later on, so keep an eye out if you want to affect the order of sprites! I'll also make the next status earlier than this time...

    Love both versions of the crow and the downed sprites too ! I can foresee either one or both of them appearing in my game. :)
