Since I've been in a heavy metal mood since after Christmas, I've been recoloring the RTP machines for an Ancient Fantasy reskin to creating Transformer sprites again, and came to the realization that the SF_Monster 4: Flying Drone (does it have a proper name??) did not have an emoset. So I corrected that. The flying drone now has a full emoset to fully express his mechanical emotions from: default, deadpan, suspicious, glee, excitement, anger, loading, and 'dead.'

Just a quick aside, I've finally discovered how to add additional image graphics to the main thread pass the threshold limit that the site has. Everything seems to be loading properly from my end, but I am curious if anyone has any loading problems for the images to kindly let me know.

Continuing with the machine trend- I've taken the liberty of recoloring the SF_Monster 4 Drone with an array of colors to add some customizable personality to the cute little guy. It's modern days, after all, and who doesn't love spending a little extra cash on their flying compatriot for a new shell? Maybe the different shell skins change their stats or grant new abilities, or the different shell colors could represent their job function. Go wild with it! And of course I've provided the matching facesets, including an Antiquity Faceset for the reskinned Drone I dropped earlier this month for the more Fantasy Machine vibe.

I can't believe how late in the year it is already. I really do not know where the time has flown but flown it has.

With Christmas around the corner, and with my busy schedule and absentmindedness, I nearly forgot to announce that I will be doing a Christmas Advent 2024 this year. Forewarning, I started late due to pixel burn out, so I may just be doing a 12 Day Advent.

Doing the 12 days of Christmas sounds just awesome, @Guardinthena . Very much looking forward to it.

You should start each day of the Advent with a parody of "The Twelve Days of Christmas". I think that would be sorta funny.

Just a quick note, I started late this year on the Advent, so I only have enough material set aside for a half Calendar this year and posting every other day.

Advent: Day 1 ~ Astronaut Sprite and Down

For the first day of Advent, why not take a trip into space with your newest RPG adventure with this nifty space-worthy Astronaut. Explore strange alien worlds, encounter bizarre creatures, make friends -or enemies- with intelligent lifeforms. And if the adventure happens to go sideways, the Astronaut comes with a variety of Down poses, with the helmet Cracked and Shattered, including one where a skull is exposed.

Loving the astronaut! There's definitely a lack of space related resources out there, so I'm sure this will be super helpful :D

@slimmmeiske2 - That was exactly my realization too. I had an itch long ago to do a sci-fi game and was sad to find out there wasn't even a basic astronaut sprite for it. Finally buckled down and corrected that oversight.

@SeaPhoenix - I thought the shattered helmet made a lot of sense too. Add some drama to a game, and the shattered helmet with the skull was for some horror-esque too.

@Saneterre - I appreciate you saying a half calendar is great. I was feeling like I really dropped the ball this year by only managing to get together half an Advent's worth of material.

Advent: Day 2 ~ Female Android

Well, I changed my mind. I'm not going to do every other day after all. Just going to drop everyday as usual until I'm out of goodies. I hope everyone's Christmas season goes well this year, with all the jolly warmness that comes along with the season. Remember to share the joy with friends and family....and speaking of friends....

The Astronaut needs a friend. Exploring space can be quite lonely. So I would like to introduce the Female Android! What space adventure wouldn't be complete without the beautiful female android to offer wit, criticism, and help to the hero? Or, perhaps, become infected with a virus and go on the fritz? Maybe the Android committed the murder in the observatory by off-lining life support?! Or perhaps, in the spirit of Chrono Cross, there is a crazy organization bent on replicating a princess and all prior model attempts are crazed failures on the fritz. Wherever your creative muses take you, the Female Android sprite is available, with multiple colors, blue and red lights to represent which side of the force she falls on, faceset and Down poses too boot.

Those androids turned out amazing, and it's so nice that you also made faces for them! Now they could be party members or the main character who's turned on after a spaceship has suffered from unknown damage.
