YOU BEAT ME TO IT!! lol -
You put so much effort into those elephants and it shows, they turned out incredible! Love that there are so many color options for them too. :kaoluv:
-
@hiddenone - Thank you for noticing. The elephants did take quite a while to get just right. Ran into a bit of trouble with the legs on the side view actually. Luckily I found a video on YT that featured an elephant walk cycle that really helped me out with it.
ADVENT: DAY 4 ~~ MINECRAFT-THEMED BEDROOM SET
As a former avid Sims player back in the day, something that I've noticed is that RPG Maker lacks a variety of bedroom themes for the kiddos, a travesty that I felt needed to be rectified immediately! We can't have every child's room looking exactly the same, with the same old boring furniture and same old toys! Where is the expression of the child and their interests? Where is the gamer, the goth, the socialite, etc? Well today I have taken a small step to correct this grievance with a modern Minecraft themed bedroom set for all those young gamers. The collection is inspired by real world products available in-stores and online and includes plushies, rugs, a curtain, wall decor, and more! For everyone out there crafting a modern game, I hope this tileset aids in adding a little extra dimension to the children in your RPG games.

Ah, I missed yesterday. Those elephants were such an amazing addition. I love all the recolours too (though the pink elephant is my favourite as well, for the same reasons everyone posted it).
The Minecraft bedroom looks great too! It gives a lot of character to a kid's bedroom. :) -
I love seeing options to the same old same old, so congrats on the bedroom tiles. They look great, though sadly as I'm not making a modern game I can't think of a reason to use them. Nor, even more sadly, can I think how I'm going to shoehorn an elephant (pink, naturally) into my current project. But maybe inspiration will strike later on.
Thank you. -
I want to own those Minecraft plushies in real life :kaopride:
edit:
I just noticed the glowstone lamp too. There really is some nice attention to detail here. Clearly designed by a fan. -
It’s probably a bit more niche, but I love and support anyone and everyone making the assets of their wildest dreams. This will be so perfect for someone out there. It really, really captures the game so well.
-
Those plushies are so cute! And I love all the little details you made, like the torch lights for side walls and pig piggy banks. Modern kids can have a lot more fun in their bedrooms now.
-
@slimmmeiske2 - It's quite alright, I've been missing days too. Lol, I only made the pink elephant as a joke but it does really seem to be a lot of people's favorites. And that is what I am hoping will happen for the Minecraft bedroom set, that someone will find it useful to add personality and character to some modern day kids.
@Kes - Thank you Kes. About the shoehorning though, if I may offer a suggestion, my first and initial thought would be that two characters are having a talk, and one mentions about not ignoring the pink elephant in the room, and when this is mentioned, have an event fade the pink elephant in and then out again as the convo carries on. An idea for sure, but whether or not it can be executed smoothly is the question.
@TheAM-Dol - My middle son actually has quite a few of those already, which is where a good part of the inspiration for the bedroom set came from. My children actually got me back into Minecraft at the start of this year and it has been very hard putting it down. It is so vastly different from what it was over ten years ago. Been watching loads of how to build tutorials and started building a whole freaking city for my sons and I to play in.
@Ms Littlefish - Aw, thank you for such sweet words. It is really nice to read such things. I do agree that the tileset is niche but I do absolutely hope it will help some creators out there individualize some children's rooms.
@hiddenone - Aren't the plushies cute. I certainly hope that the rpg children can start to have more fun in their rooms. It certainly was the idea ;)
ADVENT: DAY 5 ~~ TEACUP RETURNS...!
--from last year's Advent here and here, Teacup has returned ...Unfortunately he returns to us a little less than whole! Whether the magic around Teacup has worn down, or the last boss fight was too much, Teacup has suffered some damage and become Chipped Teacup! How will this chip in his, well, teacup affect our tiny elemental companion? Does it alter his personality? Are his magics weaker for it or stronger? Will the party begin a side quest to help fix Teacup or is the damage permanent?
Just like last year, Teacup comes in a variety of liquids that can be found below.
Samples:
Bust- Black Coffee
Battler
-
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!!! I want a spooky little tea and coffee friend! Oh, he’s supposed to be an enemy? But, he looks like friend!
-
Something tells me he wouldn't last long around @Ms Littlefish
-
@Ms Littlefish - sorry, maybe I should have clarified, Teacup is meant as a companion to the party, but last year I had people asking me for a battler too, so I just added that in for anyone that wanted him as an enemy this year too.
-
I see him talking to you and in the middle of sentences he randomly stops with a violent head tic. Then he resumes, not having noticed what happened.
-
Aww, Teacup is just so cute! I love that he has so many variations, I want to collect a whole army of Teacups!

ADVENT: DAY 6 ~~ INTELLECT DEVOURERS + BRAIN JARS
For Day 6 I have taken a sharp left turn off of cute and adorable and jumped straight into disturbing aberration territory. In the Dungeons and Dragons community, they are known as Intellect Devourers, but I personally have always called them Brain Dogs, because that is what they look like to me. They come in two recolors that I fondly(?) like to call Brain Pup and Mature Brain Dog, but of course anyone can call them whatever they like. There is a walk, walk with open mouth, and a Down pose. These disturbing...pets(?) for baddies were made from scratch and as such can be used in either MV or MZ, however! The brain jars were frankenstiened from bits from the Sci-Fi tiles in MV.
Where, might one ask, did I get inspiration for this baddie, well the short and simple truth of the matter is that I've just been playing too much of that new game, Baldur's Gate III, and that this will not be the last homage I've made in nod to that amazing game. ;) So keep your eyes peeled for later Advent releases!
-
The teacups are so adorably cute :wub I don't think I can pick a favourite amongst them.
Edit: Hmmm, brains. I haven't played D&D or Baldur's Gate before, but I can see them fit in real nice in an alien lab. :D -
The brains are just the right amount of spooky! Besides being an enemy, they’d be great pets for an evil protagonist. :LZSevil:
-
The walking brain sprites are great! I have to find some way to use one now!
-
@slimmmeiske2 - Why pick one when you could set up a system where you could alternate between them, thus enabling Teacup to have different abilities/bonuses? ;) Then you could have all the best of everything! Ooo! Tying in with the alien lab idea, it would be a great opportunity to use Hiddenone's alien sprites and flying saucer!
@hiddenone - An evil protagonist's pet, eh? I love the way you think! It would be a great opportunity.
@GalacticGod - Thank you for the kind reply. It is always exciting to read a message from someone who has found a use for my sprites. :)
ADVENT: DAY 7 ~~ WOOLLY MAMMOTHS
Have your players been sent back in time to prehistoric days where humanity dwells in caves? Or have the characters traveled to a far northern land with icy tundra's and where giants roam? Well I have a classic hairy megafauna that will help to liven up your maps and further drive that point home--the Woolly Mammoth! This reskin of my African Elephant took quite a bit of time to get the texturing just right, and I am only so happy to share the result with the community!
