  1. Adorable!

    One of my favorite shirts:

  2. Aww, look how cute these little buggers are :wub
  3. These demand to be used. Thank you.
  4. They're so cute! I had thought of including them in my game a while back and now I can - thank you!
  5. Advent time is back :kaojoy:
  6. It's advent time once again... and we're off to a great start! Now I need an excuse to add axolotls to my game.
  7. Catching up from the last year and grabbing your critter sprites. ;) Belated love for the peacocks!
  8. I don't know if a giant axolotl is super scary or super cool, but I love it!
also, while probably not intended, the down poses give me plushie vibes and I feel like there are a lot of kids in maker games that would be happy to get such a cute plushie in their rooms! ;D
  9. Your axolotls are fabulous, I don't have a place for them in my game but I feel like I need to add them just because they're so cute!
  10. @Ms Littlefish - Isn't he just the cutest? He's a little angel.
@ATT_Turan - I need to know, where can I get that shirt? It is simply amazing!
@slimmmeiske2 - Aren't they? I fell in love with them while playing Minecraft and was later shocked to discover it was a real animal. I had no idea and was pleasantly surprised! They are too cute!
@SeaPhoenix - It is great to hear that they are already finding a place in people's games.
@LunarFlareStudios - Thank you. I am sure you can find an excuse easily enough, they could even be just a simple appearance as wildlife as the players are crossing a bridge and the axolotls are swimming underneath or bathing in the sunlight on a rock, for example. ;)
@WaywardMartian - Great to see you around again! Spend as much time as you need catching up. I didn't get as much done as I would have liked this year, but I managed what I could. The peacocks will accept all the love you'll send. XD
@Avery - I love that idea! I hadn't considered them as being plushies. It is such a unique and creative idea!
@hiddenone - Thank you for saying so! :kaoblush:I am sure with a little bit of creative muse an idea will come to you! Anything from mobs, passive wildlife or, as Avery suggested, an adorable plushie.

ADVENT: DAY 2 ~~ FIRE ELEMENTAL XP CONVERSION

Let's kick up the heat while continuing the theme of elemental from yesterday and let me present my conversion of the Fire Elemental Lady from XP, reimaged in MV! Last year I converted XP's Wind Elemental, and was only too eager to give the same treatment to the fiery lady herself. She comes in a variety of recolors representing different fires for anyone who would like different mobs of varying strengths or corrupted origins: Classic Orange flame, Red Flame, Blue Flame, White Flame, Chemical Green Flame, Chemical Purple Flame, Yellow Flame and a Corrupted Black Flame.

Whether she's a mob to burn down the local town this winter, or a friendly summon to warm up your lukewarm drinks this holiday season, I am sure the Fire Elemental will set a blaze in your hearts. :LZSwink:

Edit to add: If anyone is looking for the Water Elemental from XP converted to MV, Avery already made that as part of this RPG Birthday ReStaff in
    February years ago!

  11. OMG, that's awesome! Do you plan to do Water and Earth too? And maybe I'll make some of my own for Ice, Thunder, Light, and Shadow.
  12. XP had so many great sprites. Love seeing this conversion. :D
  13. Wow, great work on the Fire Elemental, she looks incredible!

    Oh she does, she does.

I'm with slimmmeiske2 on the question of XP sprites. Still my favourite RTP, so I'm glad you're converting some of them. Thank you.

TeeTurtle, they have a lot of super adorable designs.

Speaking of, your elementals are also adorable
  16. The fire elementals are amazing, I love how the blue's hair has a lighter outline to make it look even hotter than hot!
  17. You pulled off the "my hair is actual fire" look really well for such a small graphic.
  18. Amazing work so far, but I didnt expect anaything else ;)! Was looking forward to your Adventscalendar since last year!
  19. I think the color options could be super useful, well beyond the “mystic” flame kind of ordeal. I could see the gray/white one being useful for smoke or fog. The black one for some sort of shadow motif. Very cool set!
  20. @LunarFlareStudios - Actually, Avery created the Water Elemental in the February Birthday ReStaff years back. Thank you for reminding me of that so I can add the edit the former post. :)

@slimmmeiske2 - I really did love a lot of the XP sprites too. Avery has done an amazing job so far editing them to fit MV sizes, but has anyone compiled a list yet of creators converting them yet? I know I've seen a handful of creators doing that so far out there, it might be beneficial to have a list like that?

@GalacticGod - Thank you! She took a bit of work to get right.

@Kes - :kaojoy:XP did have some really cool sprites. I am grateful to be able to convert some of those lovely sprites over to MV for the community to continue to enjoy.

@ATT_Turan - I am going to have to check out TeeTurtle, gauging by the Axe-olotl shirt they must have other amazing tee's too. :kaoluv: And thank you.

@hiddenone - So great to see a comment from you! The brighter outline around the blue flame was actually a serendipitous accident during recoloring that worked out so well I just had to keep it.

@tumsterfest - Thank you! The fire hair was a real struggle for me. I wasn't satisfied with it for awhile during the process and even considered redoing it entirely but decided I needed to stick with the original design as close as I could for it to be a true conversion.

@coucassi - I was wondering when I would see you again! :LZSwink: I myself cannot believe how fast the last year flew, I feel like last year Advent was only a few months ago, but the wait is over and here we are! I hope you'll find some amazing assets this year for inspiration too whether that is in my thread or another.

@Ms Littlefish - A spirit, fog and a shadow! I love the creativity there! I am always amazed how other members of the community can look at an asset and come up with some brilliant uses for it outside of what the original creator intended. It is simply the best.

ADVENT: DAY 3 ~~ African Elephant!

    ~Make waaaaaay, for Prince Ali!~
Sorry everyone, I couldn't help myself. Love that song. (Ahem!) :ptea: Anyways, onto the bit... There are already an amazing assortment of wildlife assets that creators have made for the community. I think most everyone knows that whtdragon offers a large collection of them that we are all very grateful for. This year I wanted to contribute to that impressive collection and poured my efforts into creating this beautiful creature...the African Elephant. It is made from scratch and so can be used in both MV and MZ (as far as I am aware). To truly capture the impressiveness of this creature it was created as a large sprite, so Harold, Reid and all other characters can be just as in awe and overshadowed by this large gentle beast...or run from it in terror as it stampedes, or, perhaps, tame it and use it as a ride, whichever comes first. And before anyone asks, the pink elephant is a nod to that old idiom of 'we can't keep ignoring the pink elephant in the room,' or, 'elephant in the room,' I've heard it said both ways. :hwink:

And if anyone is looking for smaller default sized elephant sprites either because that is what they prefer or they would like some elephant babes to mix with the herd, Metalking has a small elephant on their thread here.
