    I don't mean to burden you, but maybe a note next to each link saying "Free for commercial" or "commercial available" "Non-comemrcial" would be great. I know that info is located in each link, but it would save some people a lot of time if their doing commercial to know before clicking which are commercial and which are not. 

    Just a suggestion/request to make it better for more people. Cheers.

    I disagree, and I think it will be a burden.  You say it would save some people some time - but think of how much time they've already been saved by Granny pulling all these links together in properly organised lists.   Your suggestion also takes no account of terms changing (as they can do) and so Granny would have to be the one to check constantly that her information is up to date, otherwise she will end up being blamed if the information is wrong.  We should take our own responsibility, and check at the time of downloading what the terms are.

    I had considered trying to do something like this, but the truth is that if you want to use something in a commercial game, you really need to keep such detailed records (copy of terms from the date you downloaded, for example) that my say-so wouldn't help much.


    And if someone changed their terms to allow commercial use (as actually happened this week when Pineda allowed his sprites to be used in the Game Maker contest) then people would miss out on them because they weren't in the list.


    So sorry, you just have to slog through the list.


    However, I am always interested in knowing ways to make the lists clearer by means of better structure, formatting or whatever means you suggest. =]
