Been away for while now. My son recently got into RPG Maker and I have been trying to show him the ropes. Since we live in California and visited the Redwoods recently, he said he wanted one of the map areas to be the Redwoods. He was pretty excited to find out his own mother had made tilesets for it years ago! XD
Been dying to use my Redwood tiles for ages, so got this map put together pretty quickly. It also served as a tutorial lesson as I tried to demonstrate to him how to create organic maps. Not sure how much of the lesson sunk in.
This map also loops horizontally. It was part of the demonstration I was teaching him to show how creative he could get with map making.
I was just goofing around and parallaxed a wrong-sized terrain map over my game map. It resulted in some interesting results. The black borders are bad... but the B&W terrain adds some really nice brush feature to some areas of the map.
I made a li'l map for my summer romance game!:kaoluv: The game basically takes place on a farm, and you can walk around a bit and visit the various buildings
@SnowHermit mood is pretty spot-on! :kaoluv: I wud probably look for a replacement for the oil barrels in the kitchen corner, they be lookin' a mite out of place :kaoswt:

Thank you very much 0v0 Oil barrels means someone is going to set fire here >w<
Screenshots from a side project I'm making, more focused on combat and puzzles in a very large dungeon. I'm prototyping room aesthetics and combat at the moment.
Vertical Library Room
I want to have a very large vertical section where you keep climbing and climbing and get lost. I think it's a little dark at the moment, so I'll probably change that later.
I like how these stairs and shadow tiles came out.
Halls
Planning to make more blocks in the hallways and doors that lead to other rooms, etc.
Windowskin
I made a floral design wrap around my windowskin. It's very low contrast and unsaturated, but I think it's nice.
Yet another release is complete! It's a good feeling - to finish stuff.
Here is the trailer i made. I am not very good at making trailers, but this one seems to be turned out decent.
