Game & Map Screenshots 10 This thread is meant for showing off screenshots or maps made for your project, and to comment on or give advice to other members. Screenshots of any Maker is welcome. No other game engines are allowed. In-game screenshots and maps only, please. If you're looking for feedback on your logo/sprites/faces etc. then please post in the WIP thread. Do not quote screenshots, maps or videos in this thread. If you want to comment on someone's screenshot, please refer to them by their name (@membername), or keep the image in spoiler tags. Please be civil and constructive when handing out feedback. Do not post things such as 'this sucks!'. Point out why a map doesn't look so good, and what they can do to improve it. If you want to compliment someone, point out what you think they did well. Please refrain from re-posting your work, unless you've made some edits on it since the last time you posted it. If no one has commented on your work, and it has fallen behind by at least 2 pages, feel free to repost it then. You can re-post your screenshot if you posted in the last several pages of the previous thread. Feel free to ask what tileset someone is using if you're interested, but keep off-topic chatter to a minimum.

Hey guys, been messing around with RMVXace and I think I finally have my concept and story down for my project. I'm posting a cutscene from it here to get an idea of how well I did for my first time. I'll post more about the game and its concept and story if anyone is interested.

@callmedan Very minor point: If you changed the books on the shelves color scheme around a bit it would look less monotonues, but overall great map.

@Topic Haven't made progress on my main game for quite some time now, but wanted to get something done with the maker again, so I started up RMXP again and started a Mini RTP Project, no idea if I'll finish it though.

@shadonkoia I don't see anything wrong with that last map, it looks good to me! :)

@callmedan I like it! I think it's a good size, like the ladders to get to the top of the books on the back and also having a lot of tables!

@Tuomo L you definitely want to lower your sprites. Their feet should never be shown on the screen (unless they're far in the distance), as every background is angled in such a way that you're supposed to be at eye-level with the characters. Right now they're floating on your screen.

@Celianna - I love the intro style! It looks really professional, so if you don't consider yourself one - do so now, ok?
I'm not so much into a tailor shop game, but I can appreciate the game mechanics of clothing design and character creation you put into the game. Can I ask if you used some outside system/plugin/program to make the cast of characters intro and if so which one. Not wanting to steal secrets, but just trying to aim for something similar in the game I'm working on. Once again, nice work. I was temporarily stunned when the video started - for a good reason. :kaojoy:

@IguanaGuy the trailer was made with Sony Vegas Pro (not by me, someone else), which can do all those fancy picture effects :)

Oh, yeah, I'm still playing around the positions on the viewport. These are very early screens.
