Advent Calendar Day 6

Back in 2022 @DylanTheGamerDad created some sprites for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These sprites really inspired me to try and create my own Ninja Turtles RPG game, which I have been working on and off of for the last year).

Anyhow, although he did create a sprite for a Foot-clan Soldier, it was not the version I was looking to use in my game. I want to use the Foot-soldier design that was closer to that of the 80's cartoon or the early NES/SNES games. So I created some to match more what I was looking for and I thought I would share them to the community in case there is anyone else out there that was looking for this version.

Advent Calendar Day 21

Gleeful laughter rang through the forest, a symphony of merriment that echoed among the ancient trees and enchanted glades, a testament to the Goblin's unbridled joy in the art of mischief-making. So with a penchant for pranks and a talent for causing delightful mayhem, this Goblin is sure to add a presence to any hero's party.

For today's entry in my NPC Characters series is, The Goblin. (His touch of chaos and mischievous laughter is the spice that can make any adventure enchanting). I had already created the walking sprite for him in last years Advent but now I have the SV Battlers for him as well.

Advent Calendar Day 22

As the Advent Calendar comes close to its end, I have for you now the character sprite of the DC Superhero, Wonder Woman, (No Marvel this time). I have also included the generator files of her outfit for those that would like to make their own Wonder Woman sprites, or just use the costume on a different character altogether. The Generator files are set up to match that of RPG Maker MV.

Advent Calendar Day 23

It's hard to believe how quickly time has flown by, only one more day left in the Advent after this and only two more days until Christmas. It is exciting to be so close and sad that it will soon be over. So, let's cherish these moments and make the most of the time we have with family and friends.

And that brings us to Day 23's Advent release: This time I have another SV Battlers to match one of the sprites that never got an official one from RPG Maker MZ's RTP, Evil_7 (Also known as the HighKing).

I have always loved the design of this sprite, just a really cool looking knight (or king). So for those like me who always wanted to have him alongside their hero, look no further.

When I see how brilliant the SV battler is, it's hard to understand why he never had an official one - he's such a stand-out character.
But omission now rectified, in style.

There's just so much to see! Those SV battlers, both for the MZ RTP and for Thalzon's are just incredible! I especially like that you linked to Thalzon's and Vibratoe's sites where the sprites can be found. My favorite RTP is MZ SF_Monster_3 (Shadow Monster) and Thalzon inspired Insect_24b (Giant Ant). Then there are your original sets that include both sprites and battlers. How do you DO all that? The Mad Scientist is definitely my favorite of those. Marvel characters, weapons and battlebacks. So much to see and all perfectly wonderful. And just when I think I can't be further impressed, I find trees! Every game needs trees and having these varieties helps maps look less 'tiled' and more natural. It will be nice for a non-artist like me to be able to map a forest that actually looks like a forest instead of a tree farm. Thank you so much for all of these. Merry Christmas.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Welcome to the final day of the Advent Calendar. First off, let me give a big thanks to @Avery. Avery has done Advent Calendars for years and has been a true inspiration to myself and others throughout this community to try and participate and contribute. I have always felt that the Advents are not just about exchanging material; they're about the magical atmosphere of Christmas, the spirit of generosity that permeates the season.

In my heart, Christmas is not just a holiday, it's a feeling, a state of mind, and a celebration of all that is good in the world. It's a time when I am truly present with my loved ones, when I embrace the spirit of giving, and when I reflect on the beauty and blessings of life. Christmas is a reminder to spread joy, love, and kindness not only during the holiday season but throughout the year.

With all that said, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and enjoys this final Advent!

At last we've come to my final entry in my NPC Characters series, The Elderly Inn Keeper. With a welcoming smile and a voice as rich as the finest mead, she greets travelers from distant lands and villagers alike, regaling them with stories of bygone days and offering a warm hearty meal to all who sought refuge beneath the roof of her inn. (But don't worry this lady may be up in age but she can still throw down with the best of them.)

What a great finish! Gone are the days when RPG Maker games are full of teenagers saving a world of teenagers. That Innkeeper is wonderful. Merry Christmas! Great stuff! I love your sprites but I normally can't use them unless it's for brief cameo appearances, but that Wonder Woman outfit is great and I can definitely make use of some cosplaying in my game! I thought you just made sprites, I didn't know you had outfits as well. I've gotta look around some more, thanks for sharing!
