I'm supposed to write a written review for this game upon request by the creator, so I guess sharing it here is fine as well. Let's begin :)

First off, this isn't the super long epic RPG kind of game. This is a very short but painful game. Of course, if you set it to casual, maybe it won't destroy you but since I'm playing on hard mode, it's destroying me, a lot! D: It's hard mode, I'm not surprised if it's meant to kick me in the arsenal! The game provides you a wide array of equipment at the very beginning so all you have to do is think.

You are not supposed to grind, get strong and be level dependent. In fact, this game will test your skills in RPG. Yes, no grinding and crying over the same ol repetitive boring walk left and right hitting the enter button like a moron to get EXP. You are dealing with a game where your mind must be active while playing. You can't screw around at all. You have to seriously give all the attention on what's going on because if you don't, you'll get killed easily.

The best part of the game is each time a new battle starts, your HP and MP recovers instantly. That's good as it reminds me of Final Fantasy 13 where I don't have to keep healing my characters every damn time. Its convenient and I felt that it's necessary. You can't exploit the game too because you can never buy potions and spam them to death. You are limited to no potions and no revives. That is an extremely gruesome torture.

Most RPGs, you would at least have a Raise skill that brings a downed character back to the fight with at least 1HP. This game? Nope, forget it, you die, YOU DIE!!! Seriously, both characters you use in the game are seriously dependent. The moment one falls, you might as well shut it down and restart unless it's not a boss fight. It's pretty much equivalent to playing Dark Souls but in RPG form. It may even make Dark Souls look easy really. This game will test your patience, if you are on hard mode. I don't know for casual but on hard more, it's quite a Gatling gun of "Screw you!" bullets shot to your face.

The story is quite short, so don't expect much from it. In addition, this is just a prequel, so I didn't expect a very long novel like story anyway. You have this son of a character called Rance and the poor slave called Sill and yes this game throw insults too. I swear to god if this game was actually released for the PS3 or some kind of other huge title, women are going to sue this game for women abuse! D: But whatever, this game isn't some kind of AAA grade game or something.

Gameplay wise, it's just like Final Fantasy. ATB Bar, wait attack and yeah you get what I mean. It's the typical combat style so I wasn't too lost in it. There's nothing much to say here. Graphics are fine, I don't see too many weird stuff happening really. There are a few notable glitches, but they don't destroy the game, like instantly crashing it so I'm 100% fine with this. There was that one glitch where I did not activate the battle between Sill and the Black Lotus. That could be a game breaking glitch.

Overall, I find this game fun and painful at the same time. Sure it's bloody hard, but it's not F@$# you hard. It's doable and that's enough for me to enjoy it. I was playing on hard mode, so I can't say the game is too hard due to the fact that there is casual mode.

This game gets a 9/10 from me. It's a good tactical and strategy game that requires your brain than your time. If you are interested in the story, just hit casual mode. If you are some sick hardcore maniac who is up for the challenge, play the hard or tactical mode. You can watch my Let's Plays as a guide or strategy if you keep losing :3

P.S. To other creators who want a written review, you may request it from me. :) I'd be happy to type down everything you need to know. If you need advice, I can give that too.

Sometimes during evenings, it rains like cats and dogs here in my zone and Thundaras always happen (Thanks Black Mages...) so my electricity will cut. My laptop would still run, not my internet >< Therefore, if it's raining like crazy, I'll delay the stream for an hour. If Zeus still wants to have fun here, I may have to cancel the stream and continue the next day instead. Sorry for I cannot control nature's wrath @@

- Yup, both by the same creator. I did not get any other requests so that's it. If there are no other games requested, I shall play both games for 90 minutes.

- Suikostar is still impossible for me as I don't know what to do. If I still don't hear any news after the next Let's Play, I shall stop the Let's Play for this game.

P.S. If I really don't get requests here, I can always play Final Fantasy because currently I'm on a quest to finish Final Fantasy III, IV, V, VI and whatever I can find. Final Fantasy I and II? I've finished both of them twice, can finish em again if I wanted to @@

I am tempted to suggest a playthrough of my recent dungeon crawler about the 4 Horsemen, but be warned that it is kind of hard. If you're up for it, then sure, go ahead. It's only 2 hours long in total, and you don't have to complete it if you get stuck on any boss fights (early ones aren't so bad, but the ones closer to the end are very challenging). :p

One pointer for And We All Lost, as I probably won't be able to follow the full live stream: Please check early on whether the save function works. There should be no issues, but I received feedback from someone that it wouldn't save. I think it was a problem with that guy's computer, but you might want to make sure you can save before you play too far.

I'm excited for the "Nothing But the Third" Let's Play. It was one of the first games I ever LP'd and I'm interested in seeing how someone else plays the game. <3

Nice LPs again, really looking forward to next week! What you need to do in Nothing But The Third next is to talk to the sweeper selling lady. This will progress the game and in the future it should be easier and more clear on how to progress.

Glad to see you've been enjoying Harbingers of Woe. Hard games like that aren't for everyone and it's been mostly ignored on the forums, so I am happy to see you've been having a blast with it. (Don't forget to check your Achievements in the menu. It will tell you how you got them and what reward you get for each one). :)

Great stuff so far. You're doing really well. Glad you've finally found that restore shrine on the first floor of the tower. Didn't realise it was quite hard to see it. Lol. Well, you've just got one more area to do to complete the game, but it is the toughest one so far. There are 3 boss fights in there (1 of which is optional), and level 10 is the cap, so grinding won't help there. Enjoy! :D

Except for that glitch. I agree, it's a pretty noobish and embarrasing mistake. I uploaded a patch fixing that as soon as I saw you encounter it.

Wow, that made my day. Thanks for doing a let's play of Harbingers of Woe, man. I am thrilled to see you loved it that much and that the challenge of the game felt rewarding. That's exactly the feeling I was hoping to capture.

I'll be honest. I have not managed to beat the game on Hardochistic (highest difficulty) myself yet. But I bet there is someone out there who will be able to do it. :p

Yup, 3 hours all out on one game. I'm gonna play it till it's over. If it is over before the third hour, I'll play another RPG.

I have Final Fantasy VI, V, VI not played yet. Currently playing FF III now so I'll personally play that on my own. I can play other games too, but I'll have to see what kind of games because I bet most of you are aware in the first stream, games that have a lot moving on screen is definitely a no no when streaming on my computer. So, most probably I'll stream things that don't need much to run and also, most probably 2D.

Hm, any suggestion guys? I'll play whatever you guys suggest provided it can be played on PC. (Yes, just in case you are wondering, I now accept horror as well because, well why not...?) If not, I'll proceed to play what I want to play. Either way is fine, but I prefer to get suggestions because I get to play new kinds of games and also know about a certain series. I accept old RPGs, I never played Earthbound before. I can play Megaman X until X8. Not sure if my computer can take X7 or X8, but X6 and below is a yes because in a Twitch stream, I played X4 and it was perfect.

So yeah, there you go. Anything that is a PS2 emulator, PS1 emulator, DS emulator, Gameboy Emulator is acceptable. Games that are 3D and have a lot of movement and takes up a lot of RAM is a no not because I don't want to, because my computer seriously sucks at recording them.

I suggest what I suggest to any other streamer: Play some Pokemon and name your Pokemon after the people who watched the stream :) I dunno... I think it's quite fun xD

3 hours is gonna be more than enough to finish Nothing But the Third. For the remaining time, I like Kyuukon's suggestion, it seems fun. You should totally try that. :)
