Another advent calendar is coming to an end and while my rl did not really want to cooperate this time, just one day before actual christmas it all seems have to kinda come together again, but you can bet I am very tired.

Christmas special for this advent was HARD. I had no idea... I had the temples, but they were made for the advent sundays and even if I sorted them differently, I wanted something unique and given that christmas is the final day there would have been two released already by then.
But then I had those few cloud autotiles that I had made a long time ago... just the cloud base on A2 and that was it. Because when Guardinthena was making her heaven set for MV I just randomly tired around how I'd build one for MZ out of the given stuff.
So, I took that and build around it. And I really like, how it turned out, got a unique spin with the golden grids (and since you also have a dungeon wall version, you can also build a cave inside the cloulds). I am super happy with the A4 walls, they look as fluffy as I wanted them to look like.
And then I made something else... because, you know, our heroes will need an escape path from heaven.
You can make your guesses: will they learn from it?

The cloud tileset looks great - I especially like the gold stairs and fences, and water tiles.

My favorite resources from this Advent are the temple tilesets (especially the star one) and all the icons. Thanks for the wonderful Advent Calendar, and Merry Christmas!

Genuinely can't pick a favourite I love the temple tiles and today's just as much. Those days and the 18th when you did a matching bust for my Little Red Riding Hood. :wub

I knew you'd end with something celestial, but I didn't guess Heaven! What a lovely tileset. Thank you for all you do throughout the year, @Avery , especially this time of year. Not only do you use your artistic talents to freely create for this community, but you also act as the RPGMaker librarian, always providing a link to hard to find assets. Merry Christmas to you. That was absolutely wonderful. My favourites were the different tilesets, but I really love the weapons and matching icons too. The priestesses busts and faces were also incredible. So I guess I loved everything. Thank you very much for all that. And merry Christmas !

This is exactly what I needed to see after getting into a car crash on Christmas Eve!!
(I am fine, no major injuries or damage, just spent my day in the ER instead of with family and friends).
Those cloud autotiles? Perfection. The crispness of the gilded stairs and ladder? Vundabar!

And as much as I love the heaven tile set.. for this release my fave is that grand hallway Battleback!!

Two smallish bits I made helping out people in the forum, a "cliff with a hole" (you could also make rock bridges with them) and a icy recolor of the default dragon. For the upper edge pieces you need to add the floor inside (as you can see behind the edges), but for the other parts you could just leave it blank and map it over the ground.

That's pretty neat for those cliffs, as I recently converted some sand world autotiles into area autotiles for my small contribution to 2025's Advent.

Scrolling through What the MZ RTP is missing I noticed that while I already had made a Bust and Face for the SF_Hannayamask enemy, I never gave it the emotions as well. Probably because the mask on it already gives the character a distinct expression and I struggled to come up with a way to make them happen and not look off.
But we live and learn and I think this should do it :3

I added windows for the front and the sides and also made a propped open version of the door. You will need the bottom row of the "open door" version, the top from the "doorless" version and then map the open flap on top.
