Even though I haven't used RPG Maker in some time, I've still always enjoyed seeing the resources you share with the community, Avery. Your icons (especially the modular sets) were always a treat to see more of, and a lot of your guides for editing assets have come in very handy for me even after switching engines.
Community has always been one of the things that makes RPG Maker so great, the creativity and willingness to share that creativity with others, the willingness to help others no matter where they are in their game development journey.
Wherever your path takes you, I hope for you to be able to spend time doing the things you enjoy most.

@Avery Are you going to join the new site? I already did.
-
Well, I want to make sure that you've helped a tremendous amount of people. Goodbye and thank you again for your work.

Sometimes I wish I could give a hug to a post instead of a like. It's an end of an era here :(
I hope to see and talk to you soon :wub -
I'm going to miss your posts so so much Avery, thank you so much for all the resources throughout the years, can't really put my thoughts into words but, I'm sending virtual hugs to everyone here <3

@Avery Thank you so much for everything you have done for myself and the community. I really feel that represent you are the heart and soul here on the forum boards. Not only have you created countless resources to share here on the site but I have seen you on countless times offer guidance and assistance on other member's sprites/projects or just out right create something for someone those needed help on the resource request section. You have posted a Christmas Advent Calendar for as many years I can remember. You are a true inspiration.
Thank you for everything. -
I hope we'll see you later in what fan will make as forum.
You make really cool stuffs. I liked look at them. Thanks a lot ! -
This thread . . . it was one of my favorites. Seeing everything you created was a joy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you've done.

Thank you for so many years of dedication and generosity. You are the engine that really makes the engine work. You are beyond special and I’m happy you shared so much with us to turn our projects from dreams to reality.
-
Avery; you were the best of us.
Thank you for all you have done, and for always being the coolest head in the room. -
Thank you for everything you created, for everything you made. I think a lot of projects would have been different without your extraordinary work. Those threads were among my favorites, and i hope you will keep creating !

Came by to thank you for everything you've done for the community, then I saw this:
I can't believe you made the exact thing I needed for a game I have been wanting to make for a while! This isn't the first time this has happened to me when browsing this thread either.
Thanks for all your beautiful tiles, all of your efforts with the "What the RTP is Missing" lists, all your great icons, all your cool tutorials, and everything else you've made. Sorry for making a cringy post like this, but I just needed to say, I couldn't have made any of my games if it wasn't for you. So, thanks for everything, you'll be missed.
Edit: The attachment doesn't show, but it's the escalator tiles. -
I think there's more of your work in my recently-released game than any other artist combined (possibly excepting whoever made the RTP), and I'm sure I'll continue to use it in other games when I come back to the engine.
There are so many resources that I never got a chance to really look through, such as the icons. Maybe I'll use those icons in a future game; the current one was using default RTP icons so yours didn't fit, but I doubt I'll do all my RPGMaker games with default icons.
I already sent you the link for that game, but if you lose it, you can contact me on RPGMaker.net or (once it's up) the RPG-Refuge site and I can resend it. -
Thank you, Avery.
