You must be a mind reader. How did you know the next area I needed to map was a town in need of signs and things to hang them from?

Very nice lamp/sign posts! The example makes me want to have a fancy chicken store in my game.
-
I love the posts.
-
Sign posts!!! Thank you, Avery!
(If anyone wondered what traveling with me is like, this is pretty much the same experience. "Look at these brackets!" "Look at this railing!" "Look at those hinges!" "Look at the lamp posts!") -
I absolutely love those signs and lamp posts, they're sure to make cities and towns even easier to navigate.
-
Quickly replaces something that was already mapped with the superior resources here.
Thank you. -
Posts would fit a steampunk town really nicely :LZSproud:

I love these. Incredibly easy way to give personality and identity to a town. The lanterns in particular feel perfect for a 18-19th century feeling.
@TeiRaven …me too, I am very much that person who takes the architecture tour of every city I visit. -

Some of you might remember that I promised to fill 52 cells in my What the MZ is missing sheet and while I was quite far in, I struggled with the last cells after getting most of that pledge done in January and Febuary already (but I know that after advent it is fullfilled for sure!).
But it's calendar time and that is the time of year where I get stuff done ;D
After I already made the SV Battler for it in April (is it that long ago already?? D: ) The Evilbook could be fought, be an animated enemy or team member and be seen as sprite on the map - but not be talked to!
And here are 3 new cells aka a new completed character from the MZ RTP!
Between me and GalacticGod, I am preeeetty sure this is not the last addition to default figures from MZ ;)
May it be the sassy sidekick who comments everything the player does or a minion to summon or even a cursed book that acts as questgiver or messenger of a demon or devil - the Evilbook is now as talky as it can be!
The four emotions come in "book mode" and "darkness mode", so you can pick what works for you!
-
Oh wow, I must have missed this one initially. It looks super cool. It's pretty hard to show emotions with a book, but you've done a great job.
-
Yeah, I'm not accepting a quest from that thing :D
-
It also could make an interesting boss encounter too. Take out the book of evil!
-
amazing job on the mimic... not that i'd ever care to pick up that book in person :)
-
How in the world do I keep missing commenting on the days?! Goodness!
The Evil Book is absolutely gorgeous in its evil way. The colors are bold, the shading amazing. Having it be a party member is absolutely hilarious to me. It has the same kind of dark humor as older RPGs where a goofy skeleton can join the party. Having it even as a sassy talking sentient spellbook would be equally great. XD
The signposts and lamps are wonderful additions. I love the antique vibe they give off. Would be great in a steampunk or Victorian age city. -
Whoa, where have I been? Getting trojan horses off my computer? (Yes, I mean the virus... maybe I should be more careful what websites I visit.)
Anyway, those mimic books look awesome! I wonder what tomorrow will bring. -
I thought Hagrid said you just have to stroke the spine!
I'd ask for a version of it open to see the pages, but you might not want your work used in H-games :stickytongue: -
The book would also work brilliantly as a talking, self-opinionated save point. So much better than the standard mute crystal.
Congratulations on getting a book to have emotions. If I'd thought about it beforehand, which I didn't, I would have guessed it wouldn't be possible. Clearly it is. -

You know what is annoying about dolls? They creepily look like they maybe followed you with their eyes or even get up and walk around when you are asleep... which is no problem with these. Since you can simply cross out the maybe, because, yes, they do.
And they also come in some pretty shades for different levels of possesion.
-
Love these so much! :wub Thank you for making them (and letting me use them in the Spooky jam)
-
elegant and haunting. the perfect dolls.
