I was literally just looking at how to get some toilet paper holders done. Thank you

I lately teased you all a little with this image on my status post, and basically it was part of a thought process: I rarely need all the A3 and A4 slots for walls, on the other hand, just making variations for something as simple as a window in all widths and heights can easily eat huge chunks out of your B/C/D/E sheet.
As my brain works, the pieces quickly fell into place, and voila! A3/A4 church windows, that tile as you need.
Simply post them in any wall slot and you are good to go! I added some fun recolors, but surely you can edit them as you need them :) -
Do you like the default levers?
Yeah, me neither... those cogwheels just make them look too... well, not generic at all. There might be the right setting for them out there, but most games could probably do better with something more simple and plain.
And even though those might look more boring at first glance, I bet you'll have an easier time to get them work well with the theme of your game ;3
-
Those will fit seamless in a lot of environments :3
-
Thank you :3
It seems like I gravitate a little to those more basic things now, and after the tileable church windows I have something else nice for you guys...
tiling curtains!
So if you feel like your places might need something like this:
You came to the right place :)
This snippet here goes into A3 or A4 (pro tip: Inside usually comes without A3, so you likely have room for it anyways), just be aware that they are not plug and play and need to be formatted to fit your tileset...
And the counterpart for the bound curtains goes on B/C/D/E...
Tbh, that is one where I really expect you to choose and just cut in the ones you need, since you likely make a castle and not curtain mansion ;D -
Loving what you did with the curtains. They're so grand!
-
I snorted with laughter xDDo you like the default levers?
Yeah, me neither...
Love your version of levers, Avery. Finally a ordinary ones that will fit into any decor. -
@Avery Good morning ! I'm sorry to bother you but do you think it would be possible to emose this character?
he is one of my main characters and I have no emoset for her
Thank you ! -
If my memory serves me correctly, I believe Avery does not take requests. I at least recall that on some of her other threads. You may want to try Resource Requests.
-
Someone already made an emoset for that character anyways. You can check out Avery's What the RTP is missing masterlist.

I absolutely love those curtains. :D

How can someone be this good ar pixelart, and at the same time be this bad at mapping. :pView attachment 297348

I'm gonna assume you aren't being serious here, because if you honestly believe that the image is meant to be a solid map rather than an example of the tiles in use . . . well, I dunno what to say to that. How can someone be this good ar pixelart, and at the same time be this bad at mapping. :p

How can someone good at eventing, and at the same time be this bad giving thanks to someone that took time to add to the community AND give a quick peek to said community of what it would look like on a dummy building. She doesn't have to make or share anything at all... if it was a joke... it was in poor taste. How can someone be this good ar pixelart, and at the same time be this bad at mapping. :p

Alright guys. Let’s not muck up Avery’s thread. If it bothers her, she can tell us.

Of course, it was a joke. :p Lighten up a little. It's not a real map I criticized. It is just quickly put together to show how many different windows you can make with one window tile. I get that. I see that. That is how I knew up front Avery wouldn't possibly be offended by this... I didn't know (nor did I care, honestly) it would offend anyone else.
Avery, I can't imagine you too were offended by this, but still... If this turns out to be a real map somehow, which you made with afford and pride, in which you put your blood, sweat and tears, and my comment did offend you, then know that... well... at least you're a good artist. :p (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist...)
For real, I am a great fan of your work. Your posts over the years inspired me like no other art on this forum (even though I ended up using very little of it, but that is just because it doesn't fit in with the arts I already use). Please, keep it coming. I have nothing but admiration for you. Well, for your art... I'm not in love with you or something. ♥ Okay, maybe a little crush, but my mom says she will disown me if I marry an artist...
DisclaimerJust to be safe: That was a joke, guys... I can marry whoever I want. My parents don't have any money to leave me, anyway. Besides... My mom would love if I married an artist. Or a farmer. Or a doctor. Or an actress. Anyone. :p
All jokes aside, Avery. I am sorry, I didn't mean to derail your topic. I was just trying to compliment your work in a funny way. I had no intention to offend you. I'm just here to see your art and I hope I brought a smile on your face. :p -
If you follow this thread for a while, you know one of my biggest problems with most default things are that they are not generic enough - limiting the situations you can use them in. That is also true for the Stone1 battleback, that is bascially littered with giant gold nuggets and mining equipment, robbing us of all the more nuanced generic mines and caves that it could have been.
So while I feel there is more space for mines with lesser nuggets, different ores and so on, for now I wanted to start with just the plain wall and hear and see if you guys are into that - in the end, I don't wanna spend hours on edits for people being like... yeah, don't care ;D
So here we go, and as generic as it is, it could be a battleback for fighting on a mountainside, in a cave, in a mine... as I wanted it to be^^
-
Oh, trust me, I'm into this. I've actually been needing something like that! Thank you!
-
Much more useful to have something like this than being stuck with the default one, which has never fitted anywhere that I've mapped.
