Looks like you did include the wands in the MV pack. Very nice!

Just wanted to let you know, you MV II picture is broken. Also, @Sage721, you can just resize those to 24 x 24. Or do you want a transparent background? If so, I can do it for you, no need to ask Avery.
-
Can you make me 2 different wand icons with transparent background for ts please?
-
Hi There! I would like to ask for a sword that has a silver blade with (optional : encrested growing vine decorations on it) Then the handle will be gold with a black wrapping around it. There will be a sapphire in the center of the hilt in between the blade and hilt. I would also like a wand that has a phoenix on the bottom of it, then it will have an firey aura that is gold and white. P.S both have a white aura around them. I would also like to let you know that these are for VX Ace

Hi! I'd like to ask for a bone rapier, a tanto knife and a magic scroll (i'd like the scroll look evil because it contains dark magic). They're all in 24*24 format. Thank you !
I'd like to cancel request. Thanks! -
Edit does not include upscaling the Ace icons for the use in MV. You can use them there, but do not resize them with filters or anything like that.
Hello, I'm curious about something. I want to use your icons for a commercial game (following your terms of course), but I would like to resize them myself to 32x32. Your terms say not to resize Ace icons for use in MV, but what about resizing Ace icons to 32x32 to use in Ace? Thanks for your time, best wishes. -
I just wanted to let you know that I'm using your VX to MV icons for my Game Jam project and they're fantastic.
-
@Avery , can you pleaaase draw canteen for MV? :kaojoy:
-
My love for icons is not dead!
I just totally lacked to motivation as I made nearly everything for 24*24 yet and there's still too few icons in my own MV style so nobody uses them :/
Is there interest for me to pick up the work here and continue?
Here's the small bunch of unpublished MV II Icons I made within the last months:

Which brings the sheet in total to this progress:

-
Yes there is interest in more icons! Your work is fantastic.
What I would really like to see is a more BIG icons for VX ACE from the original Icon set. MY Dream of seeing a full BIG icon set is slowly dying! -
Agree with Nanaki_Fan! There is definitely an interest in more icons for MV :)
-
YES!! You've added just what I need o.o We want mooore!!
-
Love the laptop and the phone! Instantly integrated into my game :)

Actually, it's pretty easy to resize the VX Ace Icons if you have Photoshop. Just pop 'em into waifu2x (works best if you do them a few at a time), resize them to 2x the original size, open these super-large icons in Photoshop, then shrink them down to the size of MV icons. Or just leave 'em at 2x the size if you want those really big icons.Yes there is interest in more icons! Your work is fantastic.

Yeah, you lose the whole pixelated effect, but it's a lot less work than manually resizing every VX Ace Icon. -
And that's what I have forbidden. I dislike the blurry effect and I do not want this to be done with my work.

Wait, seriously? I didn't think those counted as a filter since I left everything else the same. And that's what I have forbidden. I dislike the blurry effect and I do not want this to be done with my work.

Hey Avery,
great that you redid the icons for MV, I will definitely use them *.* -
@Cherry-sama That was actually the entire purpose of that clause in the terms of use.
-
@Sharm Yeah, but, in my defense, if we look at the Terms section...@Cherry-sama That was actually the entire purpose of that clause in the terms of use.
When I read "filter", I thought "colour filter" or slapping a weird texture on top of the icons--something that changes the visual look of the icon in a significant way. And, as it says right now, upscaling the Ace icons to MV is allowed.Edit does not include upscaling the Ace icons for the use in MV. You can use them there, but do not resize them with filters or anything like that.
I'll give you an example of what the resize looks like, using one of the icons from the Ace RTP.
Honestly, I think that second resize method better preserves the graphical fidelity of the icon a lot better than the first resize. Isn't that the whole reason Avery forbade the use of "filters" to begin with? To preserve her work as best as possible?
(If you want more examples, then I resized the entire VX Ace RTP Tilesets using this method.)
Look, if this still counts as a violation of the terms of use, then I can find icons elsewhere. But, at the very least, could the Terms section be updated to specify what exactly Avery means by "filters"? Because, right now, it's super vague, and when I asked her about specifics before in a PM, I never got a response. :/ -
I get it, but an upscaling algorithm is a filter (the direct resize you posted is too). The important part was the first sentence, the second one was just there for clarification of what upscaling is I think, because she's fine with people using them in MV but doesn't want the size changed to do it. I think if someone were to by hand upscale it to be clean pixels she'd be okay with it (Don't do this and quote me as giving permission, it's a guess and you need permission from her first!), but I know that she can't stand the fuzzy look of the waifu resize and everyone agrees that the direct resize is terrible. Either way if you don't know for certain it's always best to assume no until it's been proven otherwise.
Avery's been gone a lot lately, because she was sick and/or super busy, I'm not surprised she didn't reply yet. A little clarification wouldn't hurt though. BTW, you should give her a little slack if her wording isn't exact or what you expect, English is not her first language.
