What the MZ RTP is missing!

If you're talking about the Etanara links, they WERE working up until about a week ago, when the whole site just seemed to vanish. :frown:

That's really weird and sad that it just seemed to vanish Hopefully it comes back soon!
But I just mean it's weird the RTP itself for MZ seems to be missing some of the actors in the enemies folder.

For example, they have 24 actor busts in the Pictures folder of the RTP:


And then they have 24 actor full body pictures:


But then in the Enemies folder of the RTP where the actors are in more of a battle stance, they only have 15 actor images. They left out Actor1_1, Actor1_2, Actor1_7, Actor1_8, Actor2_8, Actor3_5, Actor3_6, Actor3_7, and Actor3_8


I just don't know if for some reason my RTP is incomplete or if this is how it's supposed to be. If so, I feel like Degica is cheating people out of potential story material since maybe Actor1_1 starts off as a bad person, but then eventually joins your party, so you need the more aggressive stance for the beginning of the game so you can fight him and then have the normal stance once he joins your party. Or maybe I'm just being weird lol!

That IS kinda weird. lol

Does anyone have the full resolution version of this faceset of Actor 2_5? :( I found it on google images but it seems it's from that Etanara site that's down now.

I don't use twitter, but there it is still possible to contact them, someone might be able to reach out to Etanara and see if they are planning to fix the site/provide a backup?

updated my original post cause honestly those were kind of poo anyway here's the new airships. uses parts from ace so it may be required to own to use these. I'm definitely not a pixel artist but maybe someone can find these useful.

It wasn't paid content and was shared freely here before, it just seems like the original creator just didn't pay to keep the domain up. It was Etanara so there's no worries of not knowing who to credit. That said I don't know the specific forum rules of reposting others' work. Up to you (or the site rules, I guess) but I'd certainly appreciate it, no worries either way!

I am unsure if Etanara allowed re-posts or not; if you could get a mod to okay it, I will re-post it here. I don't really see the issue under the circumstances either but just want to make sure.

With etanara's page completly down, I start considering taking the links off... it's a shame, but since they don't allowed reposts as far as I know and there is no place where they are avaiable that seems to be the only logical step...

I made sure to list all the things that I removed so you don't wonder if you remembered stuff existing and now can't find it anymore. I also want to give everyone the chance to voice their opinion on the gaps they wish would be filled. I can't promise anything, but since I for example work on an advent calendar and for example @Starbird_Resources also made one last year, there might be the chance that people put them on their list.
One of those listed is for example now as replacement in my calendar and I plan to use the calendar to at least fill a few of those cells in the spreadsheet.

I did some more digging and approaches, and guess what, we have new/old stuff. I found a few things and got some of the etanara deadlinks to work with the waybackmachine, closing off some more gaps! The first links I had tried before didn't work with the waybackmachine, so I had not considered that option anymore, but some of them were reachable. (And yeah, that means I manually checked every link...)

Completly new content is green, so those who already have the etanara things see them quicker. Some of those were not made for MZ specifically, but they work (with maybe very slight recolor).

Thanks for that! I was using a lot of their stuff and lost most during some pc troubles, but I did have a few backed up! You posted most but I don't see the Demon Count so I'll attach it below for anyone who may need it. :)

Those are all not made for MZ specifically, but are made from scratch and can be used to fill some of these gaps. They are not perfect matches, but will help you to add a little more depth if you want to use those battlers :3

This one is a "if you own Ace"... well, how do you guys feel about these? You can simply cut a 144x144 square out of the bust and have a face for a creature that would have none otherwise, but still, I dunno if i should really include these on a list for MZ resources? They work pretty well and I just feel like it is better to have the link so people can decide agains using them then leaving it empty and people who would have used it could not find it.
