Weekly Art Challenge #25

#25 Introduction Weekly Art Challenge is a recurring event for the Art, Literature and Music forum wherein there is a new challenge for artists every week. The goal of the event is to encourage art and going outside the box by imposing interesting challenges and limitations. After a week, a poll will be up for everyone to vote to select the best entry. The winner with the most votes will receive a pretty little badge for bragging rights. Also, please be sure to check out the previous challenge's thread. Rules A new challenge/theme will be posted up in a new thread every week. Participants are to follow the rules imposed by the challenge/theme. Any questions may be asked. However, I reserve the right to disqualify any entries that I feel do not meet the criterion. A challenge lasts for approximately a week. Deadline for all Weekly Challenges is strictly at 12:00AM, GMT +0, on Monday. Multiple entries are allowed, and each will be voted separately. The final score will be the total amount of votes all of the entries get. On the week after, a poll will be up in the same thread. Only one participant will win. In the case where there are more than one participant with equal votes, all winners will be rewarded. Poll for voting will be available from the submission deadline to Saturday, when the winner will be announced. The winner gets to call the theme/challenge for the following week. If the winner does not wish to do so, then I will come up with one. All forms of art are welcome. No need to register. Just start working on your entry right away if you've decided to participate. Post your entries in this thread. WIPs are encouraged, but please explicitly specify your final submission. There is absolutely no measurements coming from us on the completion of a piece. Whether a piece is complete for final submission or not, is entirely your own call. So don't be discouraged if you think you can only afford to doodle a couple lines. Anything is fine. Entries must be done completely from scratch by their respective participants. This means no pre-existing stock materials are allowed, regardless of the degree to which they have been altered. Whoever is caught intentionally violating this rule will be subject to the punishment stated in our Forum Rules regarding Credit Theft. Entries must be done within the week after the challenge has been issued. No previously done work is allowed. Entries violating this rule may be automatically disqualified without prior notice. This week's Challenge Historically inspired. Deadline: 12:00AM (GMT +0) on Monday, July 21st, 2014. Poll for voting will be available from the submission deadline to Sunday, July 27th, 2014. Any questions may be asked here. All forms of art are welcome. Post your entries in this thread. WIPs are encouraged, but please explicitly specify your final submission. And that is it. Have fun!

Hey guys. There was a mistake on my end where I forgot to include Ms Littlefish's submission for some stupid reason -_- as such, I'll have to remake the poll and unfortunately all of the existing votes will be rendered nil, and those who have voted won't be able to revote. And I can't really do anything about that. My sincerest apologies ;_;

It was such a tough one to decide this time around. I had to pick between three super-awesome pieces that I loved equally for different reasons. :<

It was like Sophie's choice... only harder cause I had three options. ;_;

There were some really nice pieces this time around. I think this week's prompt brought out the best in a lot of people.

I'm weak, and at the mercy of this nice cold dirt before my body shuts down. All of this demon hunting, and being attacked and stuff is doing nothing good for me but draining my health. But, I am prevailing.

I will draw you on a picture, my dear Kirin, in hopes that soon you will be heading on to the side of good, not evil. Light will surround you soon as prothesized in my book.

After having been frightened by the large sphinx creature that man had made in the name of Art, I came upon a battle of good and evil.

Choosing to aid in neutrality, I strengthened myself with natures resolve.

And threw with all my might a Pokeball at the beast.

Paladin -Ceric returns, fresh from saving another demon and determined to save the Kirrin from the machinations of good. Can they not understand that taking control of such beasts will only leave them weak and without heart!

Paladin-Cleric strides forward, heaving pokeballs with wild abandon, because good will not triumph this day!

"Wait no longer my friend, for I shall ensure your safety!"

(if this is too much let me know... I was trying to reload the page to see the Demon hunters page to see if the pokeballs were still taking off only 50hp or had moved up to 100hp, but the website hates me.... and Ii really want the Kirrin *cries*)
