  1. All of these resources have been great! It's always wonderful to see your tall sprites get expanded upon. All the clothes and hairstyles are really going to help out to diversify the sprites.
  2. Bangs! :kaoluv: Those can really bring a whole look together so it’s so nice to have them as an option.
  3. Advent Day Nineteen and time for some accessories! While originally made for the Child base, they'll fit anyone so I put them at adult height. Anyway, it's hairbands and bows - I decided to split them up so you can have a plain hairband or just a bow, or you can put them together to make a hairband with a bow on it. Or you can use the bows wherever. Use them as bowties if you want, just remember to erase the bottom row if you do:

  4. I do like having the band and the bow separated, so much more versatile.
I'd never thought of doing bow ties like that - thanks for the tip.
  5. Ooh, nice! And so smart to offer separate ands and bows, that makes creating more interesting sprites even easier! :kaoluv:
  6. @Kes - You might need to move the left/right bows a pixel or two one way or the other to line them up right for bow ties, but I figure that won't be a huge problem for anyone who's already good enough with graphic programs to use the modular sprites. :)

Advent Day Twenty! Getting close to done! Anyway, originally I was just going to make little demon horns and tails for the kids, but then I went back and realised I never released adult demon tails, just horns. So you get a sort of double-update. For the adult ones, the ones for the Basic Female base are the top row, Basic Male on the bottom. No demon teen parts yet, but I'll probably get there eventually.

Tails are a nuisance to use since you need to figure them out around the clothing, but that is your problem now.

It is a problem that I am happy to have. Great addition.
    Thanks
  8. With the horn and tail release, now we can make our Tieflings. :)

The hair accessories are great too to add that further divergence between characters.
  9. Advent Day 21! I already dropped the human teen bases, so here's a small selection of non-human teens:

  10. These would also work if you want your non-humans as a race to be smaller than humans. Which is probably how I will eventually end up using them.
    Thank you.
  11. Yes! Bases! Those will be so useful.
  12. Those horns and tails are awesome, and now we’ve got even more great bases! I love the spooky eyes. :kaoluv:
  13. The non-human teen bases look fantastic. Great work on them!
  14. Advent Day twenty-two! Something a bit different - face variations. It's a subtle change at that size, but you might find them useful. Top row has more rounded eyes, bottom row the eyes have a bit of a sad look compared to the standard face.

( I think it was Avery who suggested posting face variations, but it was months ago and I can't remember exactly. Pretty sure it was her? )
  15. Ooo! Face variations would absolutely come in handy. The more the merrier! Would be great for cutscenes.
  16. What a great idea. So many ways to use these.
    Thank you.
  17. Nice! Face variations are great for making characters even more distinct, and they can help show emotion in cutscenes! :kaoluv:
  18. Advent Day twenty-three! More face variations. First are the elves, first with a heavy-lidded expression and a more sultry or sly one if your elves are up to something? Second are orcs with a calmer expression than they have by default. The top and bottom row are the same expression, but since I give the male orcs heavier jaws than my other bases, the orc faces needed to be divided into female and male versions.

  19. Endless possibilities. I love tall sprites. I often use @Tonbi's tall sprites of the MZ main characters. I can't always use them because it's hard to find tall NPC's to fill the towns, shops and roadways. Sometimes I want to take a break from programming and spend some time with GIMP just clumping, recoloring, copy-cut=paste, that kind of thing. Now I can make gazillions of tall NPC's, different ages/sizes and none of them will look the same (except for when I want the player to find the 'twin' I guess). This is an awesome library and I'm sure will be used by so many people. Thank you for all you've done and Merry Christmas.
  20. Love them! :kaoluv: The heavy eyelids could also be the face elves make when the silly human hero starts monologuing about saving the world.
