    @kimo Aaahh, so I wasn't the only one.
    @Guld Been meaning to ask this for a few days and keep forgetting... There was a secret path to a chest in the Pentam tunnels (entry screen). I haven't come across any other secret rooms or paths. Are there any others in this demo? (Not asking you to divulge where, just 'yup, you should be looking' or 'nope, don't waste your time yet.' :)

    There are 2 secret paths in the Tunnels. Both lead to a AntiVenom Ring.

    There are also a couple of hidden chests in the Demo. (Let me know if you'd like a clue for their locations)

    Looks like it's Norton 360. Same thing happened on a fresh unzip, but this time I caught the culprit (the message only shows up the first time which is how I missed it)

    So it's definitely on my end. I like Norton, but it can absolutely be quite obtrusive at times. <sigh> Now I'll need to check Norton's history log and see how to mark it safe.

    On another note, I'm playing Jett's timeline and I'm at the point where they've just been poisoned at the Rose and Chain. Everytime I try a new character, I become smitten with that character. But, I do believe Jett's story has me hooked now and this is the one I'm going to use going forward. I love the replayability this game has!
    Glad the issue was just the virus scanner. I was wondering how deep I was going to have to dig to find that fix haha.

    Re: Jett, yeah he has the most immediate character arc in the Demo, and I think you'll enjoy seeing where his solo quest goes. I'm glad you are enjoying the replayability.

    Those antivenom rings are so useful, so I'm going to look for the second one in the tunnel. I probably won't redo a complete playthrough for a while, but it would be nice to find/have it for when I do. If you wouldn't mind just sharing the town or dungeon for those others, that would be great. Thanks.

    There's anti-venom rings?! I'm a real explorer type normally running into walls looking for stuff. You have done an excellent job with intermittent reinforcement in finding stuff. But, I don't know about hiding one of the most valuable items I could think of in your game.

    Now a second playthrough in the tunnels is my goal. Does any character Timeline keep the party from fully exploring the tunnels and finding the hidden chests you mentioned?
  4. @kimo I have 2 antivenom rings, one I found in the tunnels. Still haven't found a second secret chest in the Pentam tunnels. Not sure where I found the second, but it was later., not in Pentam I'll check my notes and edit this post in a while.
    Antivenom ring location
    In Westwell, when boarding ship for first time, the gangplank is flanked by Boltz (orange hair on the left) and Clyde (on the right). Speak to Boltz to get this ring.
    Having 2 antivenom rings is extremely helpful in Goldmill, having 3 would make my party darn near invincible! :)

    @Lady_JJ
    Thanks for the info. I entirely missed that boarding opportunity. Yep, I spent a lot of resources on removing poison. In fact, I stopped removing poison effects until battle-end and just replenished HP as needed. There were way too many critters poisoning me all the time.
  6. I see progress is coming along on this game still!

    And hello Kimo and Lady JJ. I think I recognize you two from the aldorlea forums.
  7. Waves back at @bgillisp . Looking forward to seeing your next game. :)

    I actually have updated the game so that Poison is removed when you leave combat. I forgot that it was still around in the Demo.
    Maybe I'm overdue for a new Demo release....
  9. @bgillisp
    Yep, it's me. Aren't you supposed to be finishing your next game? :biggrin:
    Liked the book of shadows and am waiting for your follow-up game.

    @Guld
    I'll be replaying soon, and maybe every timeline. But, especially Jett's adventure. This branching is one of the most unique approaches to a game I have ever seen. So an update demo would be great.

    The second ring in the Pentam tunnels is incredibly tricky to find. I'm playing Jett this time and I see what you mean about his relic being so good.

    Spoiler
    The 2nd secret tunnel is accessed from the room where you acquire the blue stone. If your party returns toward the entrance to this room, you will see a small room with a chest to the SE. You have to loop around from the left side of this room and then over to the chest. It's easy to miss because of The Last Chronomancer conversations that distract you from looking that direction.

    @Guld
    There is a comment made in the last room of the tunnels with someone commenting about hearing a voice under the water. I tried moving the rock (won't budge) and trying to get to that mini whirlpool, to no avail. Is this just a tease for later?
  11. @kimo Wow, I really thought I had searched everywhere. I'll go to an earlier save and check that out. That alchemist warden is going to be a pushover next time! :)
    About the voice under the water comment, I don't think there is anything specific there but...
    Spoiler
    Raven makes a few comments here and there about hearing voices when she's near water. Not sure what that's all about yet, but I suspect there will be a revelation about this at some point.
  12. @kimo Great job on finding that one. There is actually 4 AntiVenom Rings in the Demo

    @Lady_JJ You are correct, Raven has multiple mentions of the voices that she hears from the water. The details of this will be revealed much later.

    Thanks again to you both for taking such an interest in my game. It is great fuel for motivation to keep pushing through my game dev process.
  13. Bug Report_Game Won't Load

    I will restart my computer, but I haven't done anything different. It just refuses to load.

    It sounds like something was corrupted/moved with one of the audio files.
    Could this again be getting blocked by a virus scanner?
  15. @Guld
    My laptop died, so that was probably it. It looks like the boot sector might be corrupted because absolutely nothing will restore or rebuild. I now have a loaner laptop and cannot play right now. It's amazing how much we depend on these things. :frown:

    I'll be back.....

    RIP Laptop. I know how that feels. I hope you are able to get everything important recovered.
